  1. Maybe even bring a can of V-8 would be better then nothing. I bring one with me when it's close to a meal just in case. I get migraines if I don't eat when I need to. Good luck.
  2. I have already noticed a big difference from my first tilt from this one. WOW They said I will be there for at least 3 hours, longer if I need it. Also that I'm not to drive myslef home. The first test I was there long enough for the test and was told I could go home right after. I also drove myself. It's going to be Tuesday the 27th. I'm nervous, but I hope it gets here soon so I can get it done and over with. I was told that their goal was to make me faint....(I have yet to faint)
  3. Thanks for giving us the update.... My first TTT was negative so I really don't have anything to offer comparing wise. Part of me is worried I'll get another negative result as well. I'm sorry you had to deal with fainting and the slow recovery. (((HUGS))) I'm interested in what others view from the test too. Glad it's done and over with for you!
  4. Hi Jenn, welcome, I hope you meet others who can relate to you.
  5. I actually had a TTT about 2 years ago. I was off and on meds however so I think that affected the outcome. (negative) I have been hearing a lot how there was a Dr in the room!? Not with me! In fact the nurse actually left me alone at one point. To top it all off one of the velcro straps was broke and wouldn't have held me up if I had fainted!! My heart rate and b/p go both ways.......I get very Tachy too. This is a different office though, so I'm thinking things will be better. I've started to wean off the meds and I hope they call me next week to get the TTT scheduled.
  6. Hi Rachel, I'm so sorry you had to deal with this. I hope your husband can take care of this for you. In the meantime you may want to look for another possible Dr? It doesn't hurt to have one lined up just in case. I have been getting somewhere when I see an EP. The first one there was a missunderstanding and I just was having a tough time getting in to see him. I only have seen the second one once, but so far everything is going pretty good. Wish you luck. (((HUGS)))
  7. Thanks, I wasn't confused when he was telling me what happens with NCS. Until I did some research on it myself. LOL The original EP that I had thought the same thing. So I have had 2 Dr's thinking the same thing. This makes me feel better. Smiles I can prevent myself from fainting but I have gotten to the point I couldn't move I was so weak. OCsunshine Yes that did make sense, thank you Mack's Mom I often feel like I'm going to vomit when I feel faint. Glad yur son is doing better on meds. Rachel Thanks for the link I'll have to check it out, I too get lightheaded and lose my vision. I told the Dr that I have to blink my eyes trying to clear them. Lauren My Dr told me that POTS and NCS go hand in hand. Thanks
  8. oh, ok. Thanks for telling me. I understand how you feel about complaining. You just have to at times though to keep sane. ((HUGS))
  9. I was just wondering if you can have NCS and not faint? I don't faint even though I feel like I'm going to and I will fall, but I don't go "out". Everything I read says NCS is "fainting" so why would my Dr think this for a diagnoses? Thanks for your help.
  10. They are supposed to call me to make the appointment for the TTT. Thanks for both of yours support. It means a lot.
  11. Amy I'm glad your finding you feel better with pregnancy! Wishing you the best
  12. Hi Roselover, What is it your dealing with? Sorry....I may know but can't remember.
  13. I'm sorry your having a hard time reading. I too can have problems. If I push myself anyway I will get lightheaded as well as out of breath.
  14. My appointment I can?t even begin to tell you how much lighter I feel! This has been the best Dr visit yet!!!! I?m so happy I decided to change Dr?s. I?m kicking myself for not doing it sooner. Darn fear!!! Anyway, I was right. I DON?T have SVT. That never did sit well with me. He also says it?s NOT anxiety causing the problems. THANK YOU. He says he thinks it?s either POTS or Vasovagal Synope . I?m going to have another TTT to find out. If that comes back normal then I?m going to be sent to a Nero to get my inner ear checked out. Just wanted to give an update??.. Thanks for your support!
  15. I feel this way a lot too...it's not so bad now that they raised my Toprol though.
  16. Happy Birthday....again. LOL Hope it's great!
  17. My fingers are crossed for her that she's able to get the surgery done and everything goes well.
  18. It's so hard when we lose are furry friends! ((HUGS)) to you and your family.
  19. The above readings are with me on meds....I'm on 50 mg Toprol and .01 mg Florinef.
  20. I guess more then anything I want to make sure I'm fighting for the "right" diagnoses. I believe with all my heart that this is what I have, but when the Dr's pass you off as having anxiety or SVT you start to question yourself over and over. When they told me I had SVT in Dec I almost deleted Dinet from my favorites, I didn't because it just didn't feel right. I actually broke down like a baby cause I was so overwhelmed! This is also why I haven't been as active in posting. I just felt like such an outsider.
  21. I just wanted to tell ya I'm sorry your having these problems. I'm on Florinef, but I tend to get mild yeast infections all the time that come and go on there own. I did this before the Florinef though. I never had a yeast infection though until I became ill. ((HUGS))
  22. I understand how you can be leary! Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
