  1. I've been on it for years. Don't leave home without it! Did they insist on an EKG at 48 hours? My EP was adament on that. Are you on the controlled release?
  2. I have made an appeal to blue cross for something, sent 2 different doctors note with it stateing my need and it was granted. Certainly its worth the try. I would copy any perscription or notes and resend every 1/4. no experiance with medicare tho. ggod luck
  3. (((((((((((FLOP))))))))) (((((((((((((AJVDK)))))))))))) SHE NEEDS ONE TOO!
  4. the abnormal ANA and RA test were after I did the treatment. I did have dx of NCS and OH before. but thankyou for that link.
  5. I mentioned in another post that I've had Hepatitus C since the 70s, and had ? I am suspecting that Dysautonomia is secondary to the hepatitus. Autoimmune disorders are common after lenghty HCV infections. And Dysautonomia is auto immune right? I've had an abnormal ANA for years. The rheumy Dr. confirmed unknown autoimmune disorder. I test positive for RA with 2 to 3x the normal range. But Dr. says I don't have it. (thank God) No water on the joints. I was dx with Dysautonomia this week so There hasn't been time to get the facts from the Dr. yet.
  6. I've had 3 colonoscopies without meds. I think its the doctors expertise that matters. The first 2 by Dr. Hale were not bad at all, the third quite unpleasent. I'm due for #4 in a year. During the first I was breast feeding and didn't want meds, the second was the same doc, the third I was in for 2 procedures and couldn't be sedated unless the 2nd procedure was canceled. Don't think I'll do that again. I never "talk" about it but I might as well. I've had hepatitus C since the 70s. So I am anti meds in general because of liver issues. The 2nd procedue was a liver BX. Had my 3 kids no meds.
  7. If I have ice cream or a cold drink during a nonactive period that can happen.
  8. yep my first baby was almost 9 pounds and an emergancy forcepts delievery. Meaning the nurse was literally on top of me as the doc pulled with the forcepts. I only pushed once. Em, I think the e-mail is saved in your Dinet messages ?? might send when theres room. ??
  9. prodomal (?) symptoms are felt before the bp crash with NCS.
  10. I think "we" get dehydrated and that's not a good thing! I like the phospate? its a small bottle as opposed to the gallon premix. Way easy for me to get down 2 tsp of yuck, than a gallon of ew. what I mean is the former tastes worst but is over with much easier. it is my opinion that "we" need extra IV fuilds afterward too.
  11. your inbox is full- I could'nt send. you could do a search- http://kidney.niddk.nih.gov/about/Research...sesFall05/3.htm
  12. lol, I'll send a description of symptoms in private! But the dx is for the doc.
  13. I'm not a doc but what you describe is consistent with my uterine prolase. This is cylicical depending on the time of the month. symptoms are the worse 2 days before my period. sorry (to worry you?), but the good news is that for me this condition progresses at a snails pace.
  14. http://www.vandrielsmedical.com/stocking.html you could try that site- or do a search I had not heard of them till your post.
  15. as far as I know I can't do kegals, I've tryed and nothing moves inside. I think I could do 2 hours in the car, but I do like the astronants do so I can stop when I feel like it! I don't want a pessary, seems to me that it would atrract bacteria. My Uroligist wants a cardio clearance for the surgery- does yours?
  16. I do hate this problem , but I have 3 problems. The uroligist said I can delay surgey "til I'm ready" for Enterocele, rectoceles and cyctoceles. it is a humilating condition - I feel your pain.
  17. I've been comfortable in mine- in the summer- I powder my butt!
  18. the leg heaviness is constant for me. The dizziness is- I quess once a week. Or once a weak...
  19. http://home.att.net/~potsweb/POTS.html this is the web site that says poor memory is a major sympton. This fellow is not a proffessional- but a patient. So thats my disclaimer...
  20. I never did take anti deppressents and have another Doc because he died of a heart attack. He and his brother- both doctors- died of congenital heart defects- SAD, SAD, SAD but I mention what he said because- he's the expert and that was his opinion. I have not mentioned it to my current doc because by now I've become use to it and luckily they love me at work and we just laugh. I was hystercail yesterday. I was telling someone at work that there are 2 main symptons of dysautonomia. One; fatique and the other ? hmmm i can't remember. and THEN it hit me! poor memory ya had to be there!
  21. I think if the treatment makes you feel worse, but, are not at risk for permanent effects-damage then you continue until you its so bad you refuse. I am unclear how long the treatment is/ or how long this degree of side effects is expected from the treatment. That would matter! Herx is temporary- yes?
