  1. Ling, Wishing you luck on your c-section and the greatest results anyone could have after surgery( a beautiful little girl! ) These last day's will be your longest, hang in there. She will be here soon and you will forget all about these last uncomfortable days. ( At least looking back you will know it was worth it. ) Take care, Amber
  2. Hi Be Still, I have everyone of those symptoms, I have had an MRI and a CT scan, both came back normal? Very wierd....the doctors thought I had Chiari 1 Malformation, but guess not. I'll look at the website you gave though. Thanks, Amber
  3. Hi Brenda, I get migranes almost everyday, as for the neck pain, yes I get that too. My head feels so heavy and it's hard to keep it up. I don't ever lie on my back unless I have to. All my life I've been this way. I get dizzy and feel just awful. I've never had to sleep in a chair though because of the pain. That has to be a pain for you. I don't know if I have got a migraine from being on my back? I just know that it gives my head a pressure feeling and it's very uncomfortable. Do you only get migraines if you lay down? Have you tried sleeping on your stomach? Good luck, Amber
  4. Just go slow, a little at first then more if you and when you can. Two and a half months ago I could only walk around the block, now I'm going to the gym and working out for about 45-60min. I'm starting to have a hard time with it as the weather gets warmer so I may have to cut back. Just remember that if you did it yesterday, it doesn't always mean you can do it tomarrow. I find the ball pretty easy, depending on how you use it. Good luck, Amber
  5. Hi LindaJoy, I'm sory you are having such a hard time. I haven't had many problems with my bladder, so I'm sorry I can't relate. My problems are from the other end. Anyway, Just wanted you to know that I'm listening and wanted to add another person to your support list. Hope you get feeling better soon. Amber
  6. Hi Kate, I hope everything works out for you tomarrow. I'm sorry your father isn't being supportive. I know it can make us feel even worse when people tell us that we can control are symptoms. It's makes it that much harder when it's family. Just remember what goes around comes around. Today I ran into an old freind and we were updating eachother on our lives. She said she wanted to lose weight but was to lazy to work out. I made the coment that I worked out but I had exercise intolerance and had a hard time working out and had to be careful. She then told me that it sounded like it was all in my head. I WAS VERY HURT AND ANGRY. Anyway, just wanted to let you know your not alone. Best wishes, Amber
  7. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Sue, happy birthday to you. ~Amber
  8. Hi Jacquie, Just wanted to wish you the best during the study. Amber
  9. Hi Kate, Not really sure how to describe the feeling........it's was a bit of both I guess. It even felt like my shirt was moving. I actually went and looked in the mirror to make sure there was nothing there. It's gone now, and I hope it stays that way. As for it being the sun, it was stormy today. Cloudy and windy, a bit of rain. It was still really warm out though. I think the high was 87 today. Thanks, Amber
  10. Thanks OLL, I have it in my arms now too.......if I move around it seems to go away. I think it may have to do with the muscles. It does feel like zips and zaps. I worked out with weights yesterday so maybe my body is telling me it didn't like it. I've calmed down now, sorry for getting all melodramatic. Amber
  11. Hi, Please help.........wasn't sure if this is a POTSy thing maybe I should have put this on chit-chat forum? Anyway, my back feels like I have worms crawling under the skin, it didn't hurt at first but now it's starting to. Very strange and I'm getting really freaked out. Have I lost my mind? It seems to be getting worse and I'm getting scared, Any ideas? Amber
  12. Sorry you had a hard night..........hope you feel better soon. Our bodies are so temperamental! Hang in there. Amber
  13. Does IBS cause spasms? They don't seem to be to painful for me so never thought to get treatment other then the fiber. The 'gas' pain can be more painful for me and the lower back tends to hurt. I have had really bad pains in the lower abdomen but thought it was female issues. It's only happened about 3-4 times but I feel as though I'm going to die, the pain so bad that it hurts to cry. Is this the same pain your talking about Susan? Amber
  14. Thanks for your input. I find the what I eat plays a big role on controling the IBS as well as the POTS symptoms. I have both diarrhea and constipation and most of the time it's at the same time. Not fun. I'm glad I rememberd this.........now I can add it to my heath history. They know about the IBS, but I didn't think my sick spell at 13 would be important. Maybe it is? Thanks again, Amber
  15. Hi everyone, I was dx with IBS when I was 14. Could this have been the first symptom of POTS? I was always really tierd around this time and missed alot of school. I had a hard time even getting out of bed........doctor thought it was depression, but I have always felt he was wrong. I had alot going on in my life at that time. I was overwhelmed maybe but not depressed. I have had up and down symptoms from age 13 and I didn't start feeling sick "all" the time untill I was pregnant with my last child. Has this happened to anyone else? Because I got better, I didn't think about it untill now. I wonder if it was POTS? Any input would be great, thanks, Amber
  16. Hi Linda, Sorry your feeling so POTSy lately.........I hope you find relief soon. I to have a hard time once this time of year comes around, hang in there. Amber
  17. Hi Corina, I'm sorry for your loss, it's never easy. Hang in there and I hope everything works out for you whether you have to have sugery or not. Amber
  18. I wish I could ignore the symptoms too, but have tried that and it gets me into trouble. If I get real bad then that's when it's time for a nap. Amber
  19. THATS GREAT CLAIRE! So glad you got a dx........I envy you A good doctor is a plus too. I'm so happy for you. Amber
  20. Yes very hard.............I keep fighting, but I'm not sure how long I can keep going. I thought I was improving, it feels like a big slap in the face when your body doesn't work the way you want it too. You know I read somewhere that breathing can affect how you feel? In class, they were doing the breath of fire............no way can I do that again. I tried but came too close to passing out, felt my body start to fall and everything. I tried to blow up a balloon at a birthday party a few weeks ago, and felt the same way..........I thought maybe I was just out of practice or something. Have you heard anything about this? I found it(sorry, that memory thing)..............they have a test called; deep breathing/paced respirations. I wrote it down. Any one have this test done? Or know more about it? Thanks, Amber
  21. Thanks, Unfortuneately I'm not on any meds. I did give in and take Excedrin Migraine. It did help, but as usual it didn't make it go completely away. I think the longer I'm without meds, the worse I feel. I can't wait till I get insurance! I have 3.5 months to go, and a little worried how I'll feel after waiting that much longer. I had my Yoga class today and couldn't complete it, I thought I was going to faint. I guess I'm going to have to slow down again......... Amber
  22. Maybe because a stool is taller then a normal chair? Your body is in more of a up right position on a stool as well. Not sure, just a thought. Amber
  23. I'm so sorry you had to deal with such a mean doctor. I think you should report him too. There is no excuse for such behavior from a doctor. Good luck in finding a "good" doctor, Amber
  24. Mary, I'm crying right now because I totally know how your feeling and it breaks my heart to hear your having a hard time. Feel free to vent on me anytime........ Amber
  25. Thanks oll and kate, I have been pushing water and was able to eat a little, I feel a little better........... I walked around the high school track last night and thought maybe I over did it, but have been working out for over two months without this feeling so wasn't sure. I make sure to drink plenty of water? Thanks again, Amber
