gertie
Anyone have a problem with phenergan or zofran for nausea? I really need something to take for nausea from vertigo. Antivert/Mcclezine is not something I can tolerate. Can't find any of these on the list. Thanks much.
DSM3KIDZ
I can't take either phenergen makes me jump out of my skin and zofran gives me a migraine. I take compazine which usually does the trick for me.Good luck I hope you find something that works for you.Dayna

sandymbme
My neurologist switched me to reglan for nausea. It makes me sleepy, but then again, so does everything!
dawn
I'm a big zofran fan. Works great. Especially the kind that disolves under your tongue.Dawn
Dawg Tired
I take Phenergan. Yes, it does make me sleepy, but with repeated use the sleepy factor goes away. Or it did for me, anyway.
goldicedance
My only comment is start with the most tested drug and work your way up to Zofran if you need to. During chemo, I first tried phenergran, then Reglan and finally Zofran. I just think if older drugs work why take a chance on a newer more powerful drug.Good luck,Lois
mkoven
reglan messes with my mood. I'm super blue on it, which fades when the dose fades. apparently it does something to dopamine. I take tigan, which is pretty weak, and only takes the edge off nausea. I'm allergic to zofram.
tiger
I would recommend Zofran from patient experience. Phenergan and Reglan can have sedating effects.
flop
If your nausea is predominantly from vertigo have you tried betahistine/SERC ? It works specifically to reduce the nausea from vertigo.Flop
masumeh
I've never taken the drug you mentioned for vertigo. I did take phenergan for nausea during pregnancy, and I'm sensitive to it; it gives me convulsions. I think that's POTS related because the drug has warnings that it increases HR. Zofran worked for me, but it comes with gastro side effects. It is a big constipator! I took it for 7 months while pregnant. Messed with my IBS a lot. momofsara
My daughter has better results from the phenergan for her nausea. She also takes Protonix , Zantac and Amatiza prescriptions for her stomach woes. Good luck to you hope you find something to help you. momdi
My son had good results with zofran, but I think his nausea started with low potassium. When the potassium was (finally) corrected, the nausea lingered on. Zofran definitely helped. Good luck.
Megan
I've taken phenergan for migraines and such in the past. It makes me kind of silly and really sleepy, but I'm pretty sure that's a normal reaction and I've never had any other reaction. I can tolerate Meclizine, though, and take it as I need it, so I don't know if you would react differently.Meg
