  1. Thank you all, As for when he is to be seen, is still up in the air. When we saw the doctor on last Wednesday, he told me his secretary would call the next day to set it up. He left me telling me see you some time next week. Well I thought we would get the call. Needless to say, I called on Friday, left a message and no one returned my call. I called again yesterday, actually spoke to a person, she told me she would get right back, well she never did. Also, the doctor told me one reason he wanted it at Akron, was so we could try and not put Jereth under, but if it didn't work with him awake, they could put him under and continue. The person I talked to told me, that if it didn't work with him awake, they would have to reschedule to put him under. WOW what a different story from the doctor. Keep you all posted, hopefully soon. Thank you again. Tracy
  2. Well aliitle while ago I wrote about my sons legs giving him problems. Well Wednesday we went to see a specialist. He checked out his legs(touching, watching him walk....)said to the eye things looked good. He did an x-ray, it showed two "shadows" on his right knee, and 1 large "shadow" on his left knee. The doctor said that they were sists(?), but they looked benign. He took another x-ray of the sides of his knees, and it showed them larger then from the front. He said the pain could be a combo of growing pains, plus these sists. He wants an MRI in Akron Childrens hospital, so in case he needs to be sedated, and or if they do find anything. He said most likely nothing will come of them, unless they are to large, that they need to be taken out, and or the are not benign. Plus, on top of this, my husband was laid off again. My systoms of course are acting up do to all this wonderful(NOT) stress. We did pick up another paper route, for which he is doing, atleast I don't need to be out doing that now, get to sleep in a little longer, or atleast till the kids get up. On top of all this, my van needed breaks, so when we took it to the mechanic, we of course, had to drive my husbands van, just got on the freeway home, when the engine blew! Had to sit and wait for a tow, now mech. wants 1500.00 for putting a new one in. I told him we had to wait, due to hubby not working, and we really don't need the second van. So atleast saving a little by not having to carry full coverage on the broken down van. Just can't wait to go see about my son. Atleast the doctor seemed nice, but had no idea about POTS, so we will see. Plus, I am to go see Dr. Fouad on the 28th, can't wait for that, I hope she will put me on flourif everyday, or something. I feel the best when I am on it the week before my period. That used to be my worst time, but with it, I seem to be better. Thanks for listening. Sorry for ranting. Tracy Hope everyone is doing well.
  3. You and Jeff are in my thoughts and prayers.
  4. Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. With my first child, I was sick most of the time. I spent more time in the restroom where I worked then at my desk. I even carried plastic bags in the car, because I was always votiming. My second, I didn't think it could get any worse than the first, but I was wrong, puking from 2 a.m. to 11p.m. It was bad. The doctor gave me some stuff, (plogel) to rub on my wrist for the neausa, it did wonders at times. My third went better. Except for the gall bladder. It was all worth it at the end though, keep that in mind. Just try to keep drinking the fluids, and try different things to eat, you'll be surprised. With my first, the only thing I could keep down for about a month was McDonald's cheeseburgers. Weird I know, but I ate them for lunch and supper, so you never know. Good luck and hope you feel better. Tracy
  5. Sorry to chime in late, but just got to the computer. Glad you and your family had a good time, specially with your little ones b-day. Hope you can find someone soon. Glad to hear you had a good experience with Dr. Fouad at Cleveland. I know about paper work not being done, with me, they told me to call for the results of some of the test at the end of the week, but after calling it wasn't done for a good week and a half. Good luck and keep us posted. I go for a six month check up with Dr. Fouad November 28.
  6. Welcome I was just wondering if lenhart is your last name, and where are you from? I know some lenharts that live around me. (I live in Ohio) You will find alot of info and good people on this forum. I was just diagnosed in this past July. Good luck. Tracy
  7. Good luck with the chemo today. You and your husband are in my prayers. Keep singing and whacking those bugs. Good luck with your puzzles. Just keep on singing and whacking
  8. Hope you start feeling better soon. I started on b/c pills because mine wasn't steady, it would come and go and it was really heavy. The pills help, I now only have my regular 6 day period, but about a week before I have spotting for about 1 or 2 days. Dr. Fouad also started my on flourinf(?) for the week before my period, because the week before I was bad with the POTS stuff. Better now. Hope they can do something for you. Good luck at the Dr. Tracy
  9. Hillary, Welcome to the site. Yes, I wear compression hose or compression socks just about all the time. From the time I wake to the time I lay down for bed, (unless showering, or swimming,) I have them on. I have found for me, I can't do much walking without them. They actually helped me stand for 4 hours yesterday. I love my compression hose.
  10. LOL! Oh Carmen, that is soooo good, that brought a laugh. Yes, we did get to see Ty, it was only about 3 feet from us. It was so cool. He is so cute.! Yes, by today I am feeling better. Actually doing some house work. Still kinda of tired, but getting sick of dust! Just taking a break now, so thought I'd check out a couple of things on the net. Hope everyone is doing pretty good today.
  11. Jennifer, I was instructed in July when I saw Dr Fouad to have a follow up in six months. I am going to call to set it up. I'll see after that if I return for follow ups. I recall from other posts that Cleveland isn't so great for followups, but other than my reg. dr, and dr Fouad, I have noone else. So for now I'll stick to Cleveland and see what comes up.
  12. Dave, Thank you for taking the time to write. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
  13. Hi Amy, Well good luck getting up at that time, and good luck at Cleveland. Dr. Fouad was a good listiner to me, and most of the time with her meds, she has helped me. Hopefully she will beable to help you too. Let us know how things go. Again, GOOD LUCK Tracy
  14. Yesterday I went to see the team from the "Extreme home makeover" show. They are in town in Boardman, so my mom, myself, my three kids, and my neice and 2 nephews went to see it. We parked at the mall and took a bus down the road. It was great, we got to see Ty and Paul. It was really cool. We finally got to see them tear down the house after 4 hours, we started to leave as soon as it started to fall, because I wasn't feeling to well, and it was getting really dusty. So, I couldn't believe it but I made it standing for almost 4 hours! I wasn't to bad till I had to walk back to the bus, it was a slight hill and my mom told me to "hop on her back", she would give a piggy back ride. Which I didn't because that would have been very weird. (Even though she could have done it!) Even my 12 year old niece was nervous, she said I was so pale. Well we got back to corner where we would be picked up. We were one of the first, so I sat down and my neice held my legs up. What a sight, but it did back it better. By the time the bus got there, there was alot of people, needless to say, till I got up, (there was a line that we were in), but alot of people that just came up, jumped line and got on the bus. Well when I stood up, (this is the worst I have felt in a while), I got so dizzy. My mom told me "Please don't pass out on me here." I felt so bad, and I thought my heart was going to just jump out of my chest, it has never went as fast as it was doing than. Well the second bus was in sight, and my mom told me that "we are getting on that bus!" Well we kinda moved infront of the line, and I was just praying that I could get back to the van and get something salty. There was this lady that said they we were cutting line, my mom told her that we were here before her, she started to get in my face, I was shaking so bad, I told her that I had a health problem and I had to get on the bus, "Yea right," she said, "So do I". Then there was a older lady with a cane having a hard time getting off the bus, my mom was trying to help her, and from this same lady "if she can't get of the bus, she shouldn't be here, and you shouldn't be either" while looking at me. I told her to shut up, and my mom pushed me ahead of her and got me on the bus. I was getting so worked up, and my mom told me that some people are just buttheads, and there is no use even trying with them. I just get upset with people, just because we have a hard time doesn't mean we can't have a life! Well except for her, I had a great time it was really cool to see the team and to beable to say we saw it first hand when the show airs on national tv. It was cool. We did get back, my mom drove us to Chuck E Cheese,( we promised the kids we would take them there, and it was closer than home.) we ordered a pizza and I loaded on the salt as soon as we got it, drank some and felt better. I have learned my lesson and I am going to carry something salty with me no matter where I go. Sorry to rant and rave, bent your ears long enough. Hope everyone has a good day. Tracy

  22. Hello all, I only had to have an ultrasound ordered by my reg. dr. then to a surgen and then to surgery in less than a week. My gallbladder looked like a pea pod with 4 huge peas that filled the whole thing, it couldn't "squeeze" anything out. Good luck!
