jangle
I'm wondering if there is a pattern for us POTS people.I had two ANA tests conducted 4 months apart. Both showed a 1:80 titre with "speckled" pattern. I'm wondering if this is the reason why my nerves haven't regrown after all this time (I'm still having an autoimmune reaction attacking them!) lgtaylor100
Mine has ranged from 1:160 to 1:320, also speckled. This can indicate some autoimmune rheumatic disorder such as Sjogren's or Lupus but mine did not. No one has given me a definitive answer as to what this means. Katybug
Always negative even though the docs always feel like I have autoimmune something at the root of it all. We just can't prove anything.
misstraci
mine says 1:320 speckled and 1:1280 atypical speckled and i have no idea what it means, they tell me most all women have a positive ana, i hate to be told that because i know its not true. sue1234
I think mine was 1:160, speckled. The doctor then tested for double-stranded DNA stuff, and it was negative. I believe that tested for Lupus.

peregrine
The two times I had it done (both before the dysautonomia developed) were both negative; we were worried about RA back then given the joint pain.
