HopeSprings
Since I haven't found one that works or doesn't cause some unpleasant side effect, I'm not on any medication. Seems like most here have found something that works even a little. Just curious - anyone else on... nothing?
Lette
oh I can only wish, the side effects of the stuff im on at first were unbearable but thankfully after about 2 months all side effects went away or at least became bearable! I wish I didnt have to take 14 meds a day!

gertie
It's not by choice but I'm not on anything on a daily basis. I have one med that I take as neededfor seizures which thankfully is not very often.
Dizzysillyak
Me .. I've been experimenting with hydrocodone for extreme lower back pain recently but that's new for me. So far so good. I was getting to where I didn't want to stand at all much less go anywhere. I just don't do well with meds. For example, the last time I took benadryl and klonopin, I couldn't stand still for any length of time without falling over. I totally failed the rhomberg within seconds and with my eyes open. Skelaxin made my right eye wander. A neighbor told me cause I just thought my vision was off.Neurontin caused halucinations ...I can take a large variety of supplements tho ... Tc ... janiedelite
I had adverse reactions to midodrine, fludrocortisone, mestinon, ssri's, and several other meds. You're not alone. I did give each of these meds several trials at different times and sometimes stayed on them for months at a time until the negative side effects became quite debilitating or even life-threatening. Tarastomsgirl
I'm on nothing at all. I do wear compressions from time to time but thats it. I haven't found anythign to work for me at all. I made it through culinary school (yep over hot stoves a kitchen over 100 degrees every day) with no meds.. Of course now I can't get out of bed but it was the best year of my life!
Beckles
I'm not on anything at the moment. I was on propranonol which helped with some things but I was able to stop that for several years. Now that my symptoms have flared up again I'm still waiting to see another doctor so who knows what will happen.

MomtoGiuliana
I've gone long periods w no meds since diagnosis. I seem to do best on a tiny dose of beta blocker.
