I can't tell you how much that gives me hope that they'll figure this out for you--and that they "get it" with regard to you needing to keep your blood volume up. They seem to be doing a more thorough job of at least monitoring you and advocating on your behalf to get your records. firewatcher Posted March 27, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 27, 2010 I spoke with her briefly last night. She feels awful and doesn't think she'll be out of the hospital till Monday. Her endoscopy/colonoscopy both look OK, but she is not tolerating the iron supplements well. Her ferritin is low as well as her hemoglobin, but they think it might be a volume related anemia thing. Sounds like they are finally seeing beyond you to what the real problem is, that is always something to be grateful for.
