  1. Do you have an endocrine doctor? A prolactin level may be an idea, if your getting breast soreness. Just wonder if the med could aggravate a prolactinoma Maybe a long shot. I have a script for the med but never took it, just muddling by with low BP
  2. most docs have no idea what mito is, that is the huge problem. They claim 1 in 4,000 babies will have a diagnosis of mito in their lifetime now. There are some severe variants and not so severe variants, also it's patient dependent and down to pure luck sometimes which ALSO makes it hard for doctors. I have had various medical issues since I was a child. My child has had issues since birth. It's going to be bigger than AIDS and no one knows what it is, scary if you ask me
  3. my neuro wanted me to see someone about a biopsy for mito, the guy he sent me too didn't know anything, I was shocked, he said there was no genetic tests even! He said go back to the PCP, crazy! anyone here with it that just did the supplements vs the testing?
  4. bay area is huge, which part are you in?
  5. the regerg is normal, the other may be a nodule?
  6. I was told they are optical migraines, I get them with and without pain. I stopped driving cause I get them suddenly and can be blind for a while, can't imagine it happening with the kids in the car, some areas round here there is just no where to pull over!
  7. Have you tried melatonin? Ambien is addictive, it's just a benzo really but marketed as something else.
  8. if it was 8am 12 isn't the highest but within the range. may be worth having more AM cortisol tests done
  9. what time of day did you have it done? looks like it was fine though
  10. I've been trying lots of salt to up my BP, BP is the same but my urine is now super dark and I have ketones. I've been drinking tons of water too, anyone else have this before?
  11. what is the thought about starting you on a benzo? did he explain addiction and withdrawl effects that come with one?
  12. do you treat it? are you small out of interest? I'm only little 4"10
  13. I hate taking pills and scared to try it, stupid I know. But I do wonder as well given how small I am if lower BP is less of an issue you go lower?? do tell! How low before you'd ring 911? You feel fine with it low?
  14. whats confusing is I feel crappy at 80/45 but feel crappy at 100/60 (my old normal BP) So maybe my BP isn't what is causing me to feel awful?
  15. I have the same BP's 24/7 so how would it work at night when not taking the med?
  16. is it normal to have 77/48 one min than 10 mins later 90/50? Maybe this is normal but people normally don't check their BP 100 times a day? LOL
  17. how did you feel at 80/40? did the SSRI give you other side effects? which one do you take? sorry bout the questions
  18. I am told 80/40 is fine by some of the docs, I have a midodrine script but not filled it yet, scared of it lowering my pulse. What is frustrating is I fell crappy at 80/40 but then when it's up to 100/60 I still feel crappy, so not sure if it's the low BP doing anything or not. oh and I can't donate blood, I've lived in Europe, they only want American blood here they tell me LOL
  19. I'd love to hear what others call low BP. When I tell me friends mine is 84/42 they freak, but I know it's not the lowest ever. 90/50 for me is fine, I'd prefer 100/60 but still some even call THAT low Love to hear what others call low
  20. 88 is low, you can buy a pulse ox at any drug store, may be worth keeping an eye on it
  21. I get weak and dizzy but also feel like that when my BP is higher, so I don't know what is causing it but it just seems too low and everyone tells me it's too low
  22. thanks for the reply. I also wanted to know at what point would YOU treat low BP? I have been going down to 80/50 or 80 over 40 something, usually more in the PM.
  23. Does anyone take valium instead? the reaction to klonopin would be the same with other benzos?
