  1. I'm not sure, I get this often enough, the urine is very acidic which would make it burn and make it hard for bacteria to live in no doubt, I do have protein though
  2. it's strange so you all must know why, right? I'm sick with a bad virus, and chronically not hydrated enough, I drank a few extra cups of water last night before bed, (which is HARD) so I lay down in bed, didn't feel cold before then, I start shaking/vibrating and all that fun and then, I had to get up and wee like 6 times min, like full decent amounts too, I HAD to go, like haven't gone all day kind of urge. I wake up and my urine is very acidic and now I burn down there like ****. But I DRANK LOADS!!!! Why did my body feel the need to dump it all before I went to sleep?
  3. I'm on the same dose for a year, what I found in the past when I used klonopin for a few years is I would have to dose up, then every 5/6 months I'd have a week of yuck and dose down, then go back to a lower dose. I use to take it for my tingling (which was less) and to help me sleep. I got pregnant and had to stop and since then people think benzo's are the devil and don't want to write a script
  4. I seriously think people don't understand the true meaning of addictive, I mean everything can be addictive. Any med that makes a huge difference in your life is addictive, if you have very high BP would a beta blocker be "addictive"? but hey it's a benzo, so it's got a bad label and treated like there are no real uses to the class of meds. I find the doctors in my area very very against giving valium. I take 1mg, it's nothing. they are happy to give 10x's the dos in ativan, which makes me ill. Even if it was a street drug, if it helps and nothing else does, again where is the issue? Addiction can be bad, tell comcast to turn off the cable and wifi for a few weeks, watch people in that withdrawal LOL
  5. The GI only tried miralax and lactulose, won't try anything else. Even on high doses I don't go without an enema. Embarrassing. It's been days again (despite 2-3 enemas a day) and I'm feeling pretty bad
  6. claire you get the vibrating too? I had it bad a lot last week, was really awful for me
  7. i take 1mg of valium sometimes and it sure does help my tingling and takes the edge off my fast pulse and PVC's
  8. I'm waiting to see genetics, they say I may have something metabolic/mito and that is causing the autonomic dysfunction, it won't be any time soon though, not sure what to do until I get answers
  9. I'm struggling. Last few days I've had tingling/vibrating in my chest, not just my arms and legs and my back muscles are tight and painful. Last night the tingling was so bad in my chest, it hurt. My GI without tests or trying more than 2 laxatives has ditched me and referred me to a colorectal surgeon, why? he won't try a single thing for my severe chronic constipation (ie. no bowel movements without enemas, none) My Cardio won't even ring back although I was tachy all week and getting high pulses in the shower and blacking out. Again, he's done an event monitor and holter, no one discussed the event monitor results. He won't treat my very low BP (often 7?/4?) he wants endocrine too, who passed me back deeming me "fine". I have had inappropriate sinus tach since I was 19 at least, they dispute this, why I don't know, they said it's just anxiety. Friday they leave a message, there isn't anything more they can do for me. I can't take pain killers since it makes the constipation much more severe (and don't work so well). I don't get why others get help and here I am miserable. Only thing that helps a bit is 1mg of valium but no one will refill it. (although hey I just have anxiety right?)
  10. They did Sue, it's not producing but could be restricting blood flow, they say to get an MRI yearly, nothing more. My low ACTH/Cortisol is fine to them
  11. I have a pituitary tumor, low ACTH + low cortisol but my stim was normal so the endocrine says I'm fine. I had low aldostrone twice but renin was normal I'm told (do not have the actual result)
  12. not planning on doing it, found it interesting, since so many of us find it so hard to get and it costs so much $$$ for it
  13. I saw you can buy with no script, isn't that easier than the $900 it costs just for the IV bag at the ER? anyone do this?
  14. when I did 2 a day i had a lot of accidents and generally felt awful from the tingling and bloating. mag isn't good if you have very low BP I often am under 70 and always 40 something on the bottom number it can increase lactic acid, which I have had high before, all those doses and it didn't make me go either :-(
  15. i checked my sugar then it was 73 on one test and 83 on the other, def not low enough to cause such severe shaking. I had taken a dose quite a while before and had juice afterwards. I'm on it since I stopped having normal bowel movements in aug. i'm currently backed up yet again and the other stuff, miralax makes my tingling worse and generally makes me feel awful
  16. I'm on a new med, lactulose which I think gave me muscle pain before. I had pain in my low back/hip/leg. Went to go to sleep and couldn't stop shaking, got severe, like a seizure like shaking. pulse jumped to 150 about an hour into the shaking, took about another hour for all the shaking/tach to stop. before the shaking got bad I felt like I was falling in a hole, out of it, it was NOT a nice feeling but tried to say well you are tired. i'm little freaked. I've had shaking AFTER tachy episodes but nothing like this. Autonomic?
  17. I've been too scared to try this med but have thought of buying it just so I have it when my BP is super low, but I'm not sure now
  18. there is a huge difference between mine with my left being lower, docs usually say nothing about it
  19. I had low o2 on my overnight o2 monitor, dips into the low 80's they want a proper sleep study but hard without insurance, they said it's not OSA though. Odd my doc was really worried and others here say they were told it was ok?!?
  20. autonomic dsyfunction can be from mito which also can mean high lactic acid
  21. is there way of explaining how the saline helps so the docs may actually do this for me? cause I can get codeine easier than saline and it makes NO sense
  22. after being ketotic and dehydrated, i'm now severely constipated, vitals are crashing and all my new docs are running for the hills, i so wish life would be easier
  23. my aldostrone was low, that is OK I was told. my thyroid is low, my IGF-1 is 175 which is in the range but the range is wrong, 50 for an IGF-1 at 33 is wrong and the starts the range! I read online it should be 200-300 ideally. I did see a pituitary doc but from his comments I am scratching my head as it doesn't even make sense if you read their own guidelines! I've been to neuro, one said 100% autonomic and thought 2nd to mito wanted biopsy, sent me to another neuo who said well right now your BP is 90/50 which is fine and you can squat 10 times (I struggled) so he declared me healthy just nuts
  24. I also have a 7mm pit tumor, but many of my issues started before the endocrine stuff (symptoms from a child) but the BP and sugar issues both started together and after a med I think hurt my pituitary
  25. my last AM labs where less than a month ago ACTH 8 (6-50) cortisol 10 (5-35) I have had low aldostrone in the past too. last endo said it was my beta blocker causing the low BP but I halved the dose and even skipped and it makes no difference. 75/45 is too low but they say endocrine needs to fix it. on thyroid pills and levels are Ok at the moment
