ArmyMom46
My sister gave me a new thought of what "POTS" stands for. Forget the medical speak, I like her thought. It sure fits me. Person Of Terrible Stamina
P SUDIK
Amen to that!!!!!!!!! When I first got POTS,I kept saying(to any dr. that would listen) " I have no stamina" I had back surgery,so for the longest time, drs.said" you are getting older it is taking you longer to bounce back from surgery"(not the case),but it took about 18 months and 19 drs. to get a dx of POTS. Tell your sister as far as I am concerned, she got that right! Pat

lthomas521
I especially like the "People Opposed to Standing" and "Pulling on Tight Stockings"! Too true!If you are at an appointment with a doctor who doesn't think that your illness is real, POTS could stand for "Pretty Obvious Tachycardia, Stupid"!
