JaneEyre9
I think a pale grey or white would match most of our faces
wareagle
Hmmm..since all the other colors are taken..how about a non-color like CLEAR? You know...it would represent our "invisable illness"!! We could have clear glass pendents, clear plastic beads on our bracelets and necklaces...heck..we could wear "clear" T-shirts..now THAT would get us some attention!!! taylortotmom
Wareagle- you win. Clear. A symbol of invisible illness. What a great answer! Too bad I already have my dress for the pageant- I guess I could have just worn saran wrap! Seriously, I love the clear idea. I am going to start wearing something clear (ribbon, bracelt, something) to promote awareness of invisible illnesses. Excellent idea. Thank you.Carmen
wareagle
Glad I could help Carmen!! I love the idea of a saran wrap dress..you'd definately bring lots of attention to Dysautonomia in that outfit !
MightyMouse
Actually, the clear bracelet is a really cool idea... I have no idea if any place makes such a thing...but perhaps?Nina
blackbirdsings
Yes, there are places that make clear bracelets, etc. I love the clear idea! Seriously a great idea, we should follow through on that...thanks wareagle!!!!
TERRI13452
Clear is a great color. I really never looked at this disorder as an "invisible" illness but it makes so much more sense. So glad to have this forum for info and discussion. It's embarrasing to think I have been dealing with this for two years and haven't run across any helpful info (at least from the docs - they just gave the dx and I guess I am on my own to research). Thanks. Terri
Sophia3
Wareagle,What a BRILLIANT IDEA to make a clear bracelet to represent this "invisible illness"!Too bad you can't patent that idea.

taylortotmom
I just made a clear bracelet out of my used iv tubing- I thought it was a nice touch!Carmen
OCsunshine
Yep, I really like the idea! If someone made and sold those clear rubber bracelet things or anything like that, I'd buy it! I think it would really spark some interest and some questions (which is the whole point).Cool idea, good thinking.
tachyfor50years
I suggest 3 colors!Yallow for pale.Red for blood poolingGray for mental fog!
blueskies
A clear band around my wrist would suggest that I've got a rubber band, ponytail band on my wrist, I think. Unless there was a name written on it in a different (vivid) colour.
ophelialit
Fabulous idea! A clear, shiny plastic bracelet would also have a glass-like quality to it...thereby further signifying our fragility and the ways in which we can be negatively affected by so many things!
