Doglover
Was wondering if anyone is taking Neurontin and if it helps..
MightyMouse
I take 300 mg of gabapentin (generic Neurontin) once in the am and once in the pm. I take it for spinal nerve pain/neuropathy, not for dysautonomia. I know others who take it for migraines (I do have slightly improved migraine issues while on it). If you have neuropathies associated with your dysauotonomia, I suppose it could help.
sandymbme
I take 600mg at bedtime, theoretically to reduce the frequency and severity of my migraines, and to help my insomnia. I really can't say I have ever noticed significant improvement. But unlike a lot of meds, I can't say I have noticed it doing me any harm either. So I am not making any changes at the moment, but I will be discussing it with my migraine specialist.Sandy
Yolaclover
It helps my head pain (like a nerve pain) and it helps me sleep. But it often nudges my BP too low plus the gabapentin generic has gluten which does not work for me. I am quitting it despite liking how much it helps me sleep and stops my pain
Dizzysillyak
Apparently, I'm not the norm because i had halucinations on this and no improvement ... I'd check the side effect page on this one.
mully2014
Weird to hear someone has had the same side effect as me on it...I had halucinations too! It also made me extremly tired and didn't improve my headache.
