For years it has been the only pain/ temp reliever I could take but the last time I took one I passed out. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this reaction. Thanks. Tylenol gives me this weird mediciney taste in my mouth after it's absorbed and I can smell it when I exhale Generic forms of acetaminophen too. I know I'm odd. I am severely allergic to Ibuprofen (found that out when I was 12) and the docs and nurses all look at me like I'm a freak when I say that (I guess its not that common). You know most of these analgesic/anti-inflammatory meds thin blood to some extent. If you were reacting to the Tylenol, maybe that has something to do with it? GingerA Posted November 8, 2011 Report Share Posted November 8, 2011 I have not had a problem with Tylenol but a friend of mine with high blood pressure said that his doc does not recommend it because it can affect your blood pressure. icesktr189 Posted November 9, 2011 Report Share Posted November 9, 2011 I do fine with Tylenol but sometimes it can make me a bit sick to my stomache, so I take one then wait a half an hour and take the other pill.
