I feel fluish off/on on different weeks, but never have a fever, even though I always feel hot. I guess having a true fever would be a sign that I really have something other than POTS. I often have flu-like symptoms, and am sure I'm running a fever, but I almost never run a "true fever." My temp runs low like a lot of people on here, so when I read 98.6, I have a fever for what's normal for me. I'm also allergic to many things, and I'm sure that makes us feel worse. MomtoGiuliana Posted September 14, 2011 Report Share Posted September 14, 2011 I don't get burning sensations, but I do at times feel achey and cold (and dizzy) like I am getting the flu. For me I think this is part of POTS. Hope you feel much better soon. If you have allergies that could definitely be triggering your symptoms.
