niki
Long story short, I have gradually improved over several years started walking and alternating light aerobic exercises, I feel great after getting done, but it isn't long until the back of my head and neck start hurting and I end up with a migraine. Anyone else?

Mrs. Burschman
Not exercise, but I could see how it could happen. I've gotten them from overstimulation and even being angry.Amy
gertie
Anytime I exercise enough for it to actually do me any good I end up with a migraine. It must have something to do with the stress on the blood vessels. I find Yoga is best for me.
potsgirl
I can sometimes get these after exercise, too. Make sure you're breathing adequately, in and out through your nose, in a rhythmic pattern.
ethansmom
I have been fairly well for the last 7 years, but have always had exercise intolerance to some degree. Since my POTS flare started up again 2 months ago, I get terrible headaches anytime my heart rate gets elevated. Yesterday I was just wrestling a little with my boys and had to take a nap afterwards to ward off the pounding in my head. I feel SO out of shape! ramakentesh
Yepp its a pre-migraine - its the vasoconstrictive part without the resultant vasodilation of a migraine - its part of POTS - associated with the hyperadrenergic form - excessive vasoconstrictive responses to orthostatic stress and exercise.
