MightyMouse
Hello again, some may recall that my first stepfather, Pat, has dodged bullets many times over the past 16 years or so... he initially had melanoma on his retina and lost his eye (he was younger than I am right now). He's had recurrences in his lung 10 years later, and liver 5 years after that... they removed portions of both. . . and now 2 more healthy years have passed, and he has spots on his other lung during a routine scan a few weeks ago; he had his more intensive scans done last week, and oncology visits this coming week. Please think good thoughts that the cancer hasn't returned.Nina

MightyMouse
Today's news was really good--the oncologist saw no changes on the scans of Pat's lungs from the ones done two months ago. Certainly he will remain vigilant with his routine scans, but for now the doc's words regarding some upcoming possibilities of travel: "Go for it!".Thank you for all the kindness sent his way--I much appreciate it.
