Hi everyone, I have been having head pressure in my forhead area above my nose but I don't have a sinus infection. I went to an ENT bc my dizziness has been bad lately. He looked at the sinuses behind my nose with a scope and said all looks good. Is it possible to have sinus congestion in my frontal sinuses without affecting the sinuses my doctor looked at? The pressure is relieved after showering so I wonder if its sinus pressure...

I was denied the first time for SSDI. Then I got an attorney and about a year later i got an approval letter from an ALJ. It's a long process. I have horrible credit bc I was unable to pay my bills while waiting for an approval.

I have an rx for lorazepam but I am nervous to take it if I am going to be driving. What dose of the lorazepam helps you? I have 1 mg but have the option of cutting it in half..

Just wondering if we are at a higher risk for developing Long QT Syndrome due to our erratic heart rates..

I am suffering from anxiety as well as POTS and would like to know what dose of Zoloft others have tried. Also, does a low dose increase our risk for long QT syndrome?

Even low doses of beta blockers cause significant drops in my Bp. Not sure how else I can get tachy under control..
-
Just wondering if anyone takes a beta blocker as needed. There are days where I am tachy and need a beta blocker. However, on the days where I do not have tachy the beta blocker seems to make me feel worse...

The mornings are very hard for me. It takes me approx. a half hour before I am up and moving around.

I am in the same boat as you....Hopefully someone has a few ideas for us!

I do drive, but am not a fainter. I have days where I feel "off." If I am having an "off" day I do not drive...

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been on much lately as I have not been feeling great. I did a stay in the hospital that found my heart rate was going up into the 130s which would wake me up and I would have severe dizziness. I did have some vestibular problems earlier, so maybe the two were somehow related...? Anyhow, does anyone else have the vertigo and palpitations that seem to coincide with one another? My cardio said that my EKG read normal, but my hr was having spikes during the night time. He didn't really have any answers for me. I have been on Metoprolol was that made me feel severely fatigued...I am wondering what else there is to try. I do notice that I'll get the vertigo then my heart rate goes up and goes back down within a minute or two....I'm wondering if maybe the vertigo is causing my palps or the other way around...Anyone else have the same problems? Just tired of all of this :0( I know people on here understand, which is what I need right now. I'm feeling somewhat hopeless..

Have you started any new medications within the past 3 months?? My mom had TENS which is a severe form of SJS, and she had a very high fever, rash, and blisters in her mouth. I don't mean to scare you, but if you've started a new med that could be the cause...

Before I urinate, I have bad tachycardia and that subsides after urinating. However, I get really lightheaded during urination...
-
Just wondering if anyone else gets lightheaded while urinating. If so, has anything helped??

Best of luck to you!!

Just wondering the blood pressure ranges for those of us with POTS. I am generally 90/54 (standing) and still feel horrible...some of my doctors don't seem to think that's low!
-
Just wondering if anyone with rapid heartrate at night benefits from taking Ativan or something similar. The beta blockers drop my blood pressure too low and I can barely stand the next day...
-
Well, I didn't take the beta blocker last night, however, my heart was racing all night...
-
My hr fluctuated between 70-111 while on beta blocker. 12.5 is actually the lowest dose for metoprolol. I could only stand for ten minutes until I felt like I was going to pass out
-
I'm on metoprolol extended 12.5mg. I'm no longer on florinef. Both florinef and midodrine give me severe headaches. They aren't mIld headaches that I could deal with, but they are severe. Not sure what else to try..

Bp was 90/64 and I was pouring sweat after walking around the house for ten minutes...
-
Just started beta blocker two days ago. My Bp upon standing is so horrible that I can only walk around for ten minutes or so before I feel like I going to pass out. What have others done when this happens to them?
-
Well, my blood pressure is low 90/64, so I'm trying to increase fluids. It has helped with my night time palpitations though...

Hi everyone! I was recently admitted to hospital for my palpitations and tachycardia. My cardio has started me on a lose dose of extended release metoprolol. I'm hoping this helps with my rapid heart rate at night. I am wondering if this can help with the adrenalin like surges I get that raise my hr. I'm thinking it should, but just wanted to see if anyone has their own experience they'd like to share regarding tachy/adrenaline surges and beta blockers...
Going To The Movie Theater

I get the same symptoms at movie theaters. I think the dizziness leads me into having anxiety which of course makes things worse..
