  1. I truly believe my pots symptoms flared after my 3 rd csection . And possibly started after I had epsteinbarr after my second pregnancy. 10 years difference in between 2nd and 3rd pregnancies. Just diagnosed last fall. My youngest is 6
  2. Thanks guys for sharing. It seems adaptation is the key here. The new norm. I've had a better time figuring that out personally as opposed to professionally as my family has seen my bad flares and fog. Up to 2 days a week on good weeks
  3. My step daughter did half and half at first. Some Classes at school and work at home. It's a great temporary solution emotionally and physically. My stepdaughter has lupus and underwent chemo with steroids. She decided to do all online classes in Washington where she is staying with her mother. She is having a hard time because she doesn't understand her work has issues with the internet and computers and is very distanced from her classmates . I don't have the answer for you just sharing her story. It's tough. Your decision mama... But please seek her input as well.
  4. It gets easier once you go. I compare it to work . My first few days were frustrating physically and emotionally. It does help. My daughter was just diagnosed with lupus . She did chemo/steroids. She started online courses and found it hard to keep up. She us struggling and may not be able to graduate with her class next year. She had the option to do half in school and half online if she had it to do over again I think she would've done that.wouldve helped her learn
  5. Thx I'll search. I live so far from the big city
  6. Thank you for your reply. I wish I could get one doc to collaborate with a few specialties. Instead of me seeking them out. There has to be a link to hormones since for females it's worse around our cycles and we have a higher ratio. I'll be interested to hear about your appointment
  7. So I'm on the cycle of feeling better for a few weeks then not so great last week of the month. I'm thinking hormones are creating chaos. Anyone see an endo?
  8. I've been wiring for this post. Glad to hear. I have florinef filled but not started yet
  9. I don't think the rhythm is accurate bit the heart rate is
  10. I have that app. Don't pay attn to the rhythm. I have a Timex trainer with chest strap when I hit a rough patch. Bad luck with department store ones returned em all. I like this one got it at the sports store
  11. The fluorescent lights at work drive me batty and the hustle and bustle of the medical office does too
  12. Lack of sleep will do it, change in hormones too that's my personal experience
  13. My first was negative .error in the leads/tech performing test. They repeated 2 weeks later. Laying 70s80s straight upright 160 within 3/4 min, laid me down 60 within 1min.
  14. Mine are all over the place. I had gestational diabetes 6 years ago. I've been to er for low bs and high bs. Hope to visit with endocrinologist and try to make sense of it all
  15. We all have those days mine was today out of nowhere and may I say it's days like this that we can come here to chat/ laugh/ cry/ heal
  16. Gjensen you sound like a level headed person. I appreciate your comment. I agree with your comment about it being a tool.I wore mine continuously.. Stairs not good, shoveling snow. Not good. Even position changes and the kids driving me was interesting to note the heart rate changes. I'm better off at work without it. I work along with docs and nurses. So I guess that's the safest place to be... Even though they aren't cardiologists
  17. It's been one week since I took my monitor off and put my old watch back on. I've worn it since nov. I'm not on meds. I'm back to work a bit. I took off my monitor at work. I constantly looked at it and I think it might've raised it a bit adding to my anxiety. I have an app on my phone that I use to check it if I'm really symptomatic. I was curious how many of us wear these monitors? I'm sure I'll be swapping out my watches again. But it's nice for the moment. Still having flurries of episodes but handling them a bit better. Until my cycle at least
  18. Hormones I think are a huge component I'm hoping to see an endocrinologist
