  1. I totally understand how you feel maybe too well. I suffer from anxiety also. I am often confused also with if it is just anxiety or POTS. It is very frustrating because no doctors seem able to give sure answers on anything. It is very depressing. I hope you feel better and feel free to email me to talk anytime and I have instant messaging on aim and on msn if you ever want to chat. good luck
  2. I just got the papers saying i got turned down for disability. It says i could appeal but i dont know if it is worth it or not. It is very frustrating. They said i definately have a heart condition but it is not bad enough for me not to work. I am a hairdresser and they say i could still do this. Ya right!!! I have to say excuse me while i faint and then i will finish your hair. These people who make these decisions must have no clue to what it is to have POTS. Anyone else ever appeal this decision or have been turned down? I will be glad for any feedback. Thanks
  3. Has anyone else ever tried this medicine? I just went to a new cardiologist yesterday and he prescribed this and I was just wondering how anyone did on it? I have been feeling pretty bad lately and was in the hospital last week and noone seems to be able to help. Thanks.
  4. I also have alot of joint pain. Especially in my shoulder and neck. I dont sleep well either so i dont know if its all the tossing and turning or just this pain of a condition that we all seem to have. Good luck finding answers
  5. That is exactly what i am talking about. But what do you do about it or does it just go away on its own? Thanks
  6. This may sound weird and I dont know if it has anything to do with POTS but I have been seeing spots in my vision the last few days. They arent the usual floaters or migraine aura spots but these last like all day. It is like when you look at a bright car reflection on a car or a flash from a camera but they dont want to go away even if i keep my eyes closed a while or sleep. Has anyone else ever had this and could it have anything to do with POTS? Thanks in advance.
  7. I also suffer from POTS and lately have been feeling very anxious. Dont know if its the pots or anxiety either. Just started with a new doctor yesterday and am hoping for some new answers. Good luck.
  8. Hello I am from northeast Pennsylvania. It has been very hot and humid here the past few days. YUCK!!!!! Tough to live with when you have POTS but looks like a little break here soon. Anyone else from PA?
  9. I have many thryroid problems and my bloodwork and ultrasound test always came back normal. I seem to have many pots and thyroid symptoms and they seem to be similiar. My doctor ordered an uptake test for my thyroid and that was the winner. They were able to find that my thyroid didn't function correctly with that test. Maybe you could give it a try. Good Luck.
  10. It is so strange that you say this because just in the last few day i am getting the same thing. I have thyroid problems and i am wondering if it is from that but i am not sure. I am so sorry to hear you are having these problems but just know you are not alone.
  11. Hi I am sorry you are feeling so bad after eating but i totally know the feeling. I get like that almost everytime i eat also. I stay away from sugar, caffine you know all the "bad foods" but i still get the adrenaline rushes also. I get very tired after that. I told the doctor and they said to eat smaller meals which i tried with no success. I also suffer with the anxiety issue. I am currently trying to find a new doctor now since all of the ones i have tried have not helped yet. I hope you find some relief soon and if i hear of any new ideas for either of us i will keep you in mind. Desiree
  12. I am just wondering if anyone has tried zoloft or any other meds like that for POTS. I have been doing alot of reading on POTS and several articles say that may relieve some of the symptoms. I have been unable to find a good cardio doctor to go to and my pcp is not up on POTS and treatments. Also if anyone is from NE PA and has a good doctor please let me know. I have searched and not found any yet. Thanks Desiree
  13. Hi everyone, I am new to this. I am finding this all very interesting and very familiar. It is nice to know you are not the only one going through this. I was diagnosed with POTS and am having a very tough time with it. I am dizzy all of the time. I have tried meds but am very sensitive and have to stop them. I also have alot of anxiety with this condition. If anyone else suffers from anxiety with POTS and has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks
