kalamazoo
Mines always runny. Especially when I need to be quiet during an exam or something all you can hear is my sniffles.
goodnuff77
My nose hasn't stopped running in years. Dr's tell me it's just allergy's. Is running nose something to do with symptoms of POTS?
Dizzysillyak
Mine used to run most of the time but stopped. Possible hormone connection forme since I'm now post menopausal as of last year. Now it's stuffy / swollen ? most of the time. I have a severe dust allergy too tho but I'm too tired to keep my home dustfree.
potsgirl
My nose tends to run the majority of the time. Then when I blow it, most of the time I get a bloody nose in my right nostril. I take allergy meds, so I'm not sure what it's connected to.
hilbiligrl
im so glad you are getting responses!!! i've asked around the same questions over a year ago but to no avail.... but mine was about a constant stopped up nose!!! im always blowing, wiping my nose..... it is runny alot.... but at the same time, one side stays constantly stopped up... sometimes both. I use to use a nasal spray for a long time and finally stopped it over a year ago (thank god). It's kinda funny.... my parents could totally tell you about how i walked around the house for years with a piece of toilet paper stuck up in each nostril...... id just walk around that way cuz the nose would run so much!!!! still do it to this day hahabut it is aggravating nonetheless! Lemons2lemonade
There is a connection. Vasodilation opens up vessels to excrete mucous.
Chaos
There is also a condition called vasomotor rhinitis which I wonder about it's connection to all this.I always have either congestion or runny nose or both. Everyone who knows me, knows I'm ALWAYS the go-to person for kleenex. LOL
jangle
Ya my nose has always been runny, I would say "medium" amount.
Alyssa
I'm on the "high" side for a runny nose. One side is always stopped up, and the other side is always running. I thought I was just weird =)
Guest Alex
hmm...never had a problem with that, and until I read this post and the explanation I wouldn't have thought of a runny nose as being a POTS issue. Live and learn.Thanx.Alex
