  1. anyone else get weird spells like this? Right now I feel antsy, lightheaded, clammy and having a heat flash almost like an adrenaline rush. I am also having trouble thinking clearly as well. It feels like it keeps getting worse.I just took my evening atenolol so hopefully it will kick in soon. anybody get like this? what do you do to help it?

  2. I have been on atenolol for maybe a year or a little over a year now. It has worked great! Both my cardiologist and my neurologist wanted me on it. my neurologist said it would help my migraines and my cardiologist wanted me on it so my heart won't work so hard and it has greatly helped! It has helped lessen my palpitations, and pounding racing heart. it has also helped my anxiety symptoms of shakiness and racing heart as well. I have only missed one dose once when i forgot my morning meds and i could tell i did not have my atenolol. I got clammy, pounding heart, palpitations and overall not feeling well. I take a half of a 25 milligram pill in the morning and the other half at supper.

  3. I had a neurologist for a little to help my migraines and he was a good neurologist only saw him a couple times then he switched fields! haven't been to one since. I want to though but its about finding the right one and to find one that takes my insurance. I notice being hot makes me worse as well! oh how i hate the heat!

  4. I am sick of having brain fog! It keeps getting worse! I get where I have trouble thinking, trouble finding words, and just feeling like I am in a fog. It gets to the point it interferes with my daily activities. What are your triggers? What helps you? I feel like when I was exercising my brain fog was better. I stopped around thanksgiving and got into a bad habit of not exercising and now I am too tired to start and I need to find a way to push myself to exercise. Also is it true that gut health can affect brain fog? I am starting to think I may be gluten sensitive as I noticed I get cranky with certain foods. I don't think there is any way i can go gluten free or dairy free. I usually eat eggs, bread and cheese everyday and yogurt because I am too tired to cook. I am afraid that my brain fog will start to affect my daily function. I am afraid that I am going to get so bad I won't be able to think at all or speak straight for be able to function. I know that that isn't going to happen but brain fog is scary to me. The only time I feel best is in the morning. So I would like to know what makes your brain fog worse and what helps your brain fog.

  5. Thanks for the awesome advice! My grandma is going to bring a spray bottle plus a cooler filled with water and ice so we can dip towels in it and put it around our necks and an separate folding table so we can get away from the crowd and find our own shaded area. It is supposed to be 95 now! with heat index of 100!

  6. Any tips on how to survive the heat Sunday? My church is having a picnic at a park/creek area and a baptism service. There are like 40 people getting baptized including me. The picnic starts at 4 then after we eat we get baptized in the creek. They said last year there were over 500 people that attended the picnic! I am nervous about being in that crowd on sunday because i get anxious in crowds. I also am very heat intolerant. I don't feel well at all when i get hot. Its supposed to be 93 stinking degrees on the day of the picnic!!! Any tips on how to survive the heat?

  7. Thanks guys! I don't feel as bad as yesterday. I do have work from 1 to 5 but after that I will relax :). Plus we are going to get strong storms and I wanted to get some good photos :).

I have also noticed that I have been having a slight headache off and on for like over a month now. It can come for a couple day s then go away for a couple days. Its not bad at all but its annoying.

  8. Woke up around 7 yesterday morning. Then spend a couple hrs getting ready for work. Sat down for like an hour. Then Went to work at 12 and had work from 12 to 5. Then we went to red lobster after work for a family get together. I don't like going restaurants because of the crowds and heat. Well red lobster was packed! and hot and sticky. I had an anxiety attack and went to the bathroom to splash water on my face to cool off but when i need it most there wasn't any cold water! it was one of those automatic sinks with just one temperature. I was miserable. Then after i finally calmed down i went to find my table but got lost and everyone was looking at me strange! But then i finally found it and even though its not proper table manners ( I was desperate for something cold ) I took a couple ice cubes from my water and put them ini a napkin and wiped my face. I finally started to cool off. But then it took forever for the food and we didnt get home tip 9pm! I was so overwhelmed and just tired. I loved seeing my family but its hard to do a lot of things at once in a day. Now thankfully today is my day off but I am so tired its hard to function and my eyes are annoyingly blurry!!!!

Does anyone else still feel tired the next day after a long day? How do you get energy boosts without caffeine?

  9. I get a weird rash that started in october 2014. little red not raised patches like some are penny sized and some are nickel sized and they are on my arms and they get worse after my shower. Its weird after i cool off some of the spots fade but come back after i am hot or in the shower. they get itchy when hot.

  10. For the past few weeks I have noticed my brain fog getting worse and worse where it is hard to function on a daily basis. I feel like it is worse with my new job as well. It has been 3 weeks and I am still having trouble getting used to it. I mean I do like it and I am making friends but I notice more brain fog at work and ever since I started work. I just hope it gets better as I get used to it more. I think I have been noticing a slight difference when I eat gluten as well. I think it may make my brain fog worse. But it is so hard to go on a gluten free diet because almost everything has gluten. We got gluten free bread and I was surprised at how delicious it was! Any tips on how to clear this horrible fog away? It is affecting my daily activities and worrying about it makes it worse. Would love to know what helps you guys clear your brain fog!

  11. Welcome!! I know this may seem like an odd solution but maybe try eating a banana before bed or after you wake up from not being able to sleep. It seems like when I can't sleep and am anxious or just tossing and turning I grab a banana and I am able to fall asleep. Its weird. I looked it up and there is a dr oz article about it too. here it is:

Hope you feel better and are able to sleep soon!

  12. I never get headaches. Yes I get migraines but they are every couple months. My headache isn't bad ust slight pain but weird and annoying. Like yesterday it started in my left eye like very faint but a throb every now and then. like different times when i would go and move my eye or bend or something. Then today its at it again. Like in the same eye and now off and on in the back of my head. not bad pain just annoying. Also anxious for no reason again. Plus I have noticed my asthma acting up more Anyone else get this? Plus I have no energy what so ever since I got off work and I was sitting most of the day just checking in books. I mean it could be the weather as well because it is raining all day and supposed to rain most of the week.

  13. I am feeling really strange right now. Not like my usual not feel well. It started around 2 and I started to get a weird pain in eye. not constant but once in a while i feel a throb. Like when i lift my eyebrow or something. Then I just feel super hot and clammy and lightheaded. Really disoriented too not like the usual. and I am very anxious for no reason. Now I suddenly feel cold. Very strange. Like I don't know what is making me feel so weird. I never had pain in my eye before. I don't know if the weather could be playing a part as it has been stormy then sunny then stormy then sunny. What bothers me most is the lightheadedness, feeling of disorientation and the anxiousness.

  14. Okay because what I am reading is na[thalene poisoning when i look up moth balls and that freaked me out. so holding a moth ball for like 2 minutes looking at it thinking it was a birds egg is not dangerous. I like held it up like 2 to 5 inches from my face trying to look at it. I worry too much.

  15. I was outside taking my dogs out then I saw something small and white under the bush. I thought it was a birds egg so I got one of my dogs poop bags and picked it up. I brought it close to my eyes and thought why does it smell so bad and held it there looking at it like two minutes. It smelled terrible like perfume. I then zip locked it up and thew it back down. I still feel like I have the smell in my nose and I feel like I taste the smell. should i be worried? Will i be poisoned? I am kind of worried.

  16. I am getting netflix today :) So excited. I am getting the 11.99 streaming plan. I am not going to be renting dads to my home. Just online streaming. Who else has this same plan and is it worth getting? Do they have new movies on there like night of the museum 3? I have been wanting netflix for so long and now that I have a job I can afford it :). What are the pros and cons of netflix?

  17. Today was a rough day. First i come in ready to work and i start working. Then I am asked to go upstairs so i bring the cart of books up the elevator. The elevator makes me dizzy. And what is worse it was really hot upstairs. I put like six books away then had to go back down because i was too hot and not feeling well. Then i asked if i could put the books int he elevator run downstairs and meet it at the bottom and they said yes :). So i did that. Then i went back to checking books in which i liked but the lady that showed me how to do things is really nice but her perfume bothered me so much. I actually felt a little nauseous and i never feel nauseous from smells even though my nose is really sensitive. My nose was burning as well. I sat down with a fan to check more books in but still felt lightheaded, and sickish. I then just asked if i could read the manual for a little while and they said i could. It was hard.

Do any of you get sick around perfumes and cologne? How do you handle it in the workplace? There were like 3 to 4 people with strong perfumes today it made me miserable. I just hope and pray it doenst give me a migraine at work.

  18. I have a migraine app called my migraine triggers i think that is what it was called. also my fitness pal is a good app. and choosemyplate.gov is a good website. I have a fitbit charge hr to track my hr as well as my calories and steps and how far i walk. Also some good foods for energy are eggs, apples and peanut butter, pretzels for salt, and bananas are good to help me sleep :).
