  1. it's all red on my left eye. not the lid but from the eyebrow line down to the top of the lid. and on that side there is a diagonal red splotch that looks like I was leaning my hand there but wasn't. I get the red eye thing once in a while but the cheek is new. I don't think I have parvo virus because I would have other symptoms and its not a butterfly rash. the cheek started last night.

    Also my left arm from time to time for a while now gets a weird weak floaty feeling. it doesn't get heavy its more floaty like detached from my body but I can still use it and grab things i feel stuff like its not numb just floaty while my other arm feels normal. and i know this doesn't have anything to do with the rash but i thought i would throw in that question as well.

    have any of you had similar symptoms? if so what did u do to help it?

  2. Ok I have had problems with raynauds for a couple years now. My feet turn blue and purple when im cold or stressed and I get a splotchy purple pattern on my arms and legs sometimes. a little before my atenolol I started to get really itchy bumpy red toes and found out I have chilblains. it got worse when I was put on atenolol. and now my raynauds is getting worse since I was put on antoher dose of atenolol. now my finger tips and toes turn white which my doctor said is really bad. the thing is I need a beta blocker or something. has anyone else had this issue? if so did you switch meds? and if so what meds have u tried that don't cause circulation problems?

My mom and I get a weird purple blotchy skin discoloration from our elbows and ends where tshirt sleeves end. its really weird. it comes and goes. it pops up more when we are stressed or cold. and sometimes with me one ear or both get randomly bright bright red and burning hot. It happens randomly when I get heat flashes and by itself. also it happens when I am upset too. Also my nose turns a deep red purply color sometimes when I am hot or randomly or when I am upset. we do not know what it is.

  4. I agree it sounds like migraines. I just hwd a spell on friday. I was playing a racing game on the wii which I should not have and it made me dizzy I felt like I couldnt see right then I kept seeing little lightning flashes and I felt like I was going to pass out I started slurred speech Iwas speaking gibberish and my speech felt slow then my left hand went numb then my right ha d then my right side of face then my tongue went cold and numb. Then I starged feeling better after a little but I got a headache after and my stom a ch felt weird.

    I think migranes may have fevers with them. It was weird a few months ago I got a migraine spell one night it wasnt as scary but uncomfortable. Then i woke up with the headache i felt fine otherwise but at 11pm that night i started aching sbaking and had shortness of bresth and had a fever that went up to 101. I took tylenol and felt better the next day.

    So it could be possible its migraines hut I would still talk to your doctor or a neurologist to make sure its not serious. Good luck and feel better soon!!!

  5. I was spacey yesterday. I forgot to take my meds during dinner so I felt off like something was missing. so I tossed and turned all night until right before midnight when I remembered to take them. Still I couldn't sleep I got hungyr but I can't eat in the middle of the night so I tossed and turned I was too hungry to sleep so I kept tossing and turning then finally I fell asleep around 530 am this morning and I had to wake up at 730. So I only had 2 hours or less of sleep. Plus my anxiety was high for no reason so I couldn't sleep from that.

    So now im paying for it today. I felt awake for a little while which was weird but now im tired and off and on today my right temple kept twitching. I get so overtired different times that I feel awake.

    My right ear keeps doing this weird static crackle. also does anyone else get bouncy eyes when they are sleep deprived? once in a while today when I try to look at something, not every time but once in a while my eyes bounce a little where it looks like the object im looking at is bouncy. Is it bad to stay up all night? I couldn't sleep because of my anxiety and med thing I had 2 hours. I just hope I can get some sleep tonight. when I am overtired my anxiety gets worse. Do any of you experience this ?

    How do you guys get to sleep when you can't?

  6. I have these spells once every couple months for the past 3 years. I went to the hospital when I first started getting them. they didn't find anything in the mri and cat scan and they did a neck artery ultrasound and they didn't find anything. so they say its vascular migraines but none the less I get so freaked out when it happens to me. I feel better now. I just feel wiped out. it seems like ever since I got lyme disease 3 years ago I started getting these migraines.

  7. Something weird happened today. I got one of my weird migraine spells I get once every couple of months. I was playing the wii then I started not feeling good because I was playing a racing game I haven't played before and I got dizzy. Then I stopped playing the wii and I could not see straight. everything was blurry and I kept seeing spots or auroras or something. then I felt so lightheaded and I started freaking out because it was such a scary feeling and my speech got slurred and I could not speak right I wasn't making sense and I couldn't speak right it came out in gibberish. then my left hand went numb. then it went away. then my right hand went numb and my tongue went numb and the right side of my face went numb. Then I got a bad headache around 330. I felt a little nasucious too. It finally went away after dinner. But now I am beat tired. This whole scary spell lasted from 130 pm to 5 pm. It was scary. Does anyone else get weird spells like this? I mean even now I am tired and I just felt wooshing in my head and ears. I do not know what causes these spells.

  8. I don't sleep because then I cant sleep at night but I have been extremely tired the past 2 weeks. Do you move around at all ? all I do is sit at my computer because I have nothing else tod o but I do exercise everyday from 2 to 3 I do the cardio workout on the wii and I play just dance and that hour I exercise I feel more awake. I am thinking about doing a song or two on just dance every hour maybe that will help me be more energized maybe if you have a wii you can too or you can look up dance videos on youtube.

  9. What are some energy boosting Ideas? I am so so so so tired it just hit me randomly. I can't function right I am so tired I can't think straight. its scary. I have no energy right now. I am not allowed to nap so that is out of the question. my head is so foggy and it feels so heavy. how do I shake off the feeling? I already tried just danc eon the wii to get moving. I tried yogurts and nuts for energy didn't work. idk wha tis wrong with me. I never get this extremely tired. I mean I did stay up until 130 last night. but I cant function I cant think straight. I need energy but I can't have caffeine. this stinks. Also suddenly my anxiety is super high idk why but when I am overtired sometimes my anxiety gets so high. I hate hate hate feeling like this.

  10. I really need an energy boost. I was up unitl around 1:30 last night watching the **** clark new years eve thing on tv then our neighbors set off fireworks so I watched them from my window. I am so tired it is so hard to stay awake right now. I tried playing just dance on the wii to get me moving a little then having a yogurt and nuts for snakc for a energy boost but it only helped for a little bit now I feel so much more tired. Any ideas? I do not want to go for walks its too cold outside Lol. Oh and I can't have caffeine. What do you guys do to give yourself a energy boost?

  11. Ok. I have been feeling not well for a couple days now. For starters I have not been sleeping well for the past 2 weeks. I usually fall asleep around 11. But the past week I have been falling asleep around midnight one am and two am. Last night I slept good though. I fell asleep around 11 before 1130 but I am still so tired its hard to function.

    It started Thursday night. It was around 11 at night when I started feeling really warm and overtired. I never feel that tired. So I had a banana and went to bed. I woke up around 2 am Thursday night sweating and my heart beating so fast I have never felt it beat that hard. It literally felt like it was going to pound right out of my chest. I was shaking bad too. I had shortness of breath also. My shortness of breath has been worse this week. It seems like when I am really tired my shortness of breath gets worse for some reason. I finally was able to calm myself down, got egg nog and I fell back asleep. I woke up yesterday morning still hot and my heart beating fast. I took my atenolol and it stopped the fast heartbeat but then my eye started twitching like crazy. It twitched all day long yesterday and I was very tired yesterday too. I don't know if my eye twitching was from low calcium because I skipped my vitamin Thursday morning and yesterday morning because I didn't eat much to eat with it because when im really tired im not that hungry and I have to eat with it. So I took two tums for calcium and in a little while after it helped. But today I am still just very very tired. We didn't do much for Christmas. we drove 4 hours to relatives but im used to long car rides. we stayed there for two and a half days. all we did was go to the beach and walked around a little not long at all. and it was cold out so it wasn't hot or anything.

    I don't know if it was because I had a lot of chocolate a couple days before Christmas and during Christmas. My parents baked those peanut butter cookies with a kiss in the middle so I had some of those and then at our relatives house they had mint patties out and I do not know if they are dark chocolate or not. I know dark chocolate has more caffeine but my cardiologist said chocolate was fine for me to eat. just not tea or soda. But I guess I may have had too much chocolate or something but my heart never has beated that fast in my life. I have a cardiologist appointment this month but it just scared me. I don't know why I am so tired lately either.

  12. Thanks guys. I feel much better. and yes sunglasses do help me with the florescent lights but my paretns wont let me use them in stores. they think its weird. I have been dehydrate yes. I feel thirsty a lot and water doesn't quench my thirst. I increase my salt intake like im supposed to but I drink maybe 5 water bottles a day or more. my skin is dry all around my lips. So I drink Gatorade and that helps some. I hope you all have a great holiday!!

  13. Ok. Mom and I went out shopping at 11 am yesterday and didn't get home until 730ish pm. Here is how our day looked:

    Went to pharmacy to get moms prescription. Went to family dollar to get pen pal gifts. Went to moms doctor to get labs. Went to petsmart to get neighbors dogs bone and my dogs gifts. Went to ollies to look around. Went to best buy to shop.

    All three stores were packed. In ollies I got trapped in a couple isles because I had a cart and the isles were small. I get major anxiety in crowded stores so that wasted some of my energy. then after a while we went to best buy to get me a tablet for Christmas and it was hot in there and crowded the two worst combinations for me and we were there for 3 hrs. there are too many tablets. then I was so hujngyr so we stopped at chick fila drive through and had to wait 5 minutes.

    I had a few fries and a soda but my anxiety was so high from the whole day and I was super exhausted because I never sat down once the whole day except on the way to other stores. I was so overwhelmed and it was hard for me to eat. I had a few freis and a soda but my stomach started to hurt idk what from either the anxiety or exhaustion or both and so I didn't eat my chicken sandwhich which is odd because I always eat. then an hour later I went to eat half a donut and a glass of milk so I don get hungry in the middle of the night and I had to force myself to eat the donut because my stomach started hurting again when I ate. I was so overtired and exhausted but anxious so I did not get to sleep until 1 am.

    Today I feel like crap. I am sweaty, I still don't have my appetite which scares me, I am wiped out, my body feels like jello, it's hard to stay awake but I can't take a nap or I wont sleep at night. I am clammy, very very tired. and I lost 2 pounds just shopping yesterday. the day before yesterday I was 134.6 and today I checked my weight and I am 132.4.

    can shopping make dysautonomia worse? could the symptoms I am feeling be dysautonomia? it is scaring me the way I am feeling. do any of you feel like this ? I just hope nothing is wrong. I just hope its dysautonomia.

  14. I want to know what causes brain fog? Feeling disoriented, unreal, forgetfulness feeling. What are some ways that help you cure your brain fog? It is such a scary symptom. I have it most of my life. I have better days than others. today is one of the bad days. I just feel so foggy all day like im a walking zombie. I have felt dehydrated this morning so I had a couple bottles of water and a Gatorade and I had a ramen for lunch for the extra sodium. my ears feel full off and on, I am hot and cold at the same time. I have been feeling weird ever sinc ei woke up. I don't know if it has to do with waking up in the middle of the night with a nightmare but I got good sleep. I don't know. I want to know what helps you guys with brain fog. and what could cause it. I am going to see my rheumatologist soon so I will tell her some things to see if she knows anything about it.

  15. My Cardiologist told me not to have caffeine. He did say though that I can have chocolate. Today for some reason I have been feeling odd. My anxiety has been worse yesterday and today. This morning for breakfast I had a Boston Cream filled donut with chocolate frosting on top. Then I had some fudge tonight. Then earlier after lunch I had decaffeinated French vanilla black tea but it did say it had some very slight caffeine in it. I have been feeling restless anxious, irritable and just plain off and disoriented all day today and yesterday. I mean im disoriented 24/7 but it has been worse today and yesterday. Could chocolate make it worse? i'm just really out of it I feel like I can't see straight. I don't know.

  16. I seem to get overheated easily in the winter. I don't know why but today and yesterday and this whole week actually I have been getting heat flashes, lightheadedness, and today I have been dizzy and woozy throughout today. I mean its been snowing all day but not sure ifi ts from that. i'm really out of it as well.

    Back to the winter subject, when I was younger and used to play in the snow a lot I wouldn't be able to stay out for more than 30 minutes or I would start to sweat and have to lay down. its weird.

    so I guess me not feeling good today is the weather. plus its really hot in here at my house. it is 72 degrees and my parents have the pellet stove running plus they had the oven on earlier today to bake bread and that makes it hot in here.

  17. Ok so I was bored and 30 minutes ago I wanted to crimp my hair. Well it was still damp from the shower this morning because I keep my hiar up in bun all day so I blow dried it and I have a lot of hair so it took like maybe 15 to 30 minutes to crimp my hair. now my cheeks are and ears are hot and bright red and im lightheaded. Does anyone else experience this? what causes us to not feel well after blow drying and crimping hair? I am now hot and lightheaded. I love crimping my hair once in a while but I pay the price afterwards.

  18. I used to have hypoglycemia a year ago. I got hypoglycemia a couple years ago when I started celexa. After I stopped the celexa I no longer have hypoglycemia. when I had hypoglycemia I did a glucose test. just fasting over night before I drank the sugary solution it was 47. I do not know what it spiked to but on the 3rd hour my body starting acting strange. I was sweating perfusively, I was getting angry a little aggressive. there was a snack table in the same room and I yelled I need food I went to run to eat it but mom had to wrestle me down back in the chair so I wouldn't pass out. and they checked my sugar and it was 26. they gave me orange juice and peanut butter crackers t hen I was back to normal. This might help you: maybe try eating small snacks throughout the day instead of big meals. Whenever you eat something always have protein and maybe have 15 grams of carbs with each meal. it might help to try to avoid real carb food like lots of potatoes or lots of pasta or lots of rice. those could make you crash faster. maybe with eveyrmeal try to have protein. and to keep your sugar from crashing when you sleep I was told having a high fiber and protein snack would help. My grandma saw a news thing on tv that an apple and a glass of milk before bed would help keep your sugar up through the night. what I always had was a slice of bread with peanut butter or a slice of lunch meat and a glass of milk. I hope you feel better and find a way to keep your sugar under control!!

  19. I have been feeling worse this week. my back has been aching this week, also my brain fog is terrible. It is worse than usual!! I tried eating a ramen for lunch but it didn't help. I am very forgetful. I am just so so so so so so so spacey. I am only 22 and I hate feeling like this. I am so out of it. Plus I can't knit for long anymore. today I was knitting and I guess I might have been gripping the needles too hard and my hand got pins and needles and I had to stop. also I hhavent been able to exercise much. I hate feeling spacey. also a weird thing is happening I am hot and cold and my right cheek has a big red circle and its hot. im cold but im also hot. its strange. anyone have suggestions on what helps your brain fog?

  20. You will get used to them!! beta blockers may lower blood pressure. Maybe check your blood pressure next time you feel dizzy. if your blood pressure is low maybe try eating something with salt and drinking some Gatorade for electorlytes. If you really don't feel well try having a ramen for lunch they are loaded with salt. you will feel better all people are different when they adjust to meds. if you don't feel better soon maybe you could talk to your doctor about switching meds. Hang in there!!

  21. I always have brain fog non stop. it happens 24/7 where I feel like I am in a dream and cant wake up. anxiety doesn't help the matter. I have anxiety issues and having brain fog gets me more anxious which causes more brain fog because im thinking about it too much. I get so scared that one day I am going to go crazy or go into a deep depression. I do not have depression problems but ever since I ended school I have been feeling depressed because I am not on a constant schedule. I have been feeling hot and cold off and on the past couple days my brain fog has been severe. I am now getting heat flashes this past 2 weeks. idk if its because I am due for my monthly friend today but I am usually a week late so my symptoms vary. but I am hot and cold severe brain fog, feeling depressed like my life is going knowwhere. can anxiety make dysautonomia worse? I get so nervous going to stores or anywhere with people. school was fine because I got used to that. if I get anxiety in a store I get so lightheaded I have to get out because im afraid im going to pass out. it never happened but it worries me. also I feel depressed because of not being able to go into a store that I will never be able to get a job, get a date, go on dates you get the drift. the store and dates are two separate things. I can't go to a therapist because it costs money and I have already been to them in the past. I still live at home and I don't have friends. I have one but I cant see her every day only every couple of weeks because she has a life unlike me she lives on her own drives and has a job. I just wish I can do those things. I just need to get over my anxiety. how do you all cope? im so stressed. right now I feel real hot my ears and nose are red and brain og and feeling a little depressed.
