  1. yes i have noticed that my blood pressure has gotten higher when i know my blood volume has gotten even lower than before and i was wondering about this myself and why it is happening, and if bp getting higher is bad or good, if you find out any info please let me know radha
  2. i am not talking about wrinkles, i mean a straight crease going across the cheek, like an indent, and i dont sleep on that side of my face, so was wondering if any of you ever got this and why radha
  3. i am sorry if this question was asked before, but do you any of have thin lines or creases on your face that dont go away? and have any idea what could cause this and why it happens? i dont sleep on that side of my face but have 2 lines that dont seem to go away and they dont hurt, any ideas? radha
  4. thanks for all the info, i didnt know betas could help hyperthyroid symptoms not that i am sure i am hyperthyroid, do any of you know of any natural or alternative treatments that could help if you are slightly hyperthyroid? thanks again radha
  5. i have just about every symptom of hyperthyroidism, but thyroid tests are always normal, hyperthyroidism seems so so similar to hyper adrenergic POTS, would a medicine for hyperthyroid maybe help even though your thyroid looks normal? i know none of you can say do this or do that, just wanted some input, thanks radha

  7. do any of you know if desmopressin might help to increase low blood volume even if you dont have any kind of diabetes? any info would be appreciated, thanks radha
  8. have any of you taken ritalin LA and what is the difference between this and regular ritalin and did you find you felt more hyper? i am already too hyper most of the time and i know this is a stimulant, so wanted to know if this would make me even more hyper which is the last thing i need! thanks for any info, radha
  9. i never get diarrhea, just the strong urge to have a bowel movement and then whatever is there from i guess previous meal comes out right away, my doc isnt too knowledgable about POTS but she is openminded and willing to be educated which more than i can say about most docs! thanks for your reply radha
  10. i know alot of you have problem with too slow gastric mobility, but have any of had or heard of too fast gastric emptying? i mean as soon as i eat something i have the urge to move my bowels and have bowel movement very soon after, i dont have any diarrhea but seem to go too often and too much considering how little i eat, does anyone know why this is happening? could it be due to the adrenaline surges which may be speeding up my metabolism and then making me digest the food to fast and come out too fast? and is there any med to slow down emptying? thanks for any help radha

  14. i get terrible pain in the left eye socket and around the eye and travels over whole left side of head, i was told it could be because of hemicrania continua, you could do a search to find out more about it, i take indomethacin daily and it does help to keep it under control, maybe you could ask your doc about this, and i take a med to contol stomach acid, cant remember name, but you need to take it if you are going to take anti inflammatories like indo on a long term basis to prevent ulcers, hope you get some relief soon radha

  16. for those who get this kind of vertigo, do you have any idea what causes it and why do you get episodes repeatedly in one day and then the next day or days after nothing? and do you also get ear pain and pressure since i have this with the vertigo, but it comes and go and i have no idea what triggers it, thanks for any info, and meds help it? radha
  17. thanks so much for all your replies, i am only 30 and last time i had an echo, which was couple of years ago it was normal, never had a carotid scan, but i feel better know that some of you have experienced this and gotten pain in that area and that its all due to the mystery of POTS, thanks again for making me feel better, too bad there isnt anything to make this better! radha
  18. do any of you know if a doppler study or any test similar to that could be done at home through portable testing equipment? and what possible symptoms are of carotid artery disease, i dont have high bp but i have been noticing when i turn my neck sometimes i get a quick sensation of vertigo and severe lightheadedness different from the general lightheaded feeling i usually feel most of the time, and i do get pain that comes and goes in the area righth below the ears, in the neck, any input would be very appreciated, thanks radha
  19. i take bisoprolol and it helps me with palpitations and tachycardia, no bad side effects from it, hope it helps you, radha

  22. i cant thank you enough for your help, i have asked few pharmacists and they said they had no idea what comparison in strength would be, and my GP has been pretty much useless! everything is usually left to me to find things out, but you were a big help, thanks again, so i guess i will take less sotalol than atenolol, thanks again radha
  23. thanks so much for your reply, i was wondering how a 40mg tablet would compare to a 25mg atenolol tablet, i know it is very hard to give an exact conversion, but i am not sure how much to take to help with tachycardia and palpitations, i was taking 75mg atenolol so do you have any idea how much sotalol that would be? thanks again for your help radha
  24. for those of you who have taken sotalol, do you have any idea how it compares strength wise to propranolol or atenolol? i used to take these 2, now am going to try sotalol, but have no idea how much to take, doc isnt sure about how much to give either! what strength did u take of sotalol? thanks for any help radha
  25. i am unable to treat my lyme due to severe herx that i cannot tolerate even on a tiny dose of abx, did u take anything to help decrease the herx? glad you are improving, radha
