MightyMouse
OMG -- I'm so tired, and dizzy and sick to my stomach. To add serious insult to injury, one of my -you know what body part- has swelled up and is hard as a brick and hurts like, well, I can't quite describe. I look so lopsided it's not funny. Ouch. We were supposed to go out to dinner with friends tonight, but there's no way. No way. Nope. NOT happening. I have a date with a heating pad. Love to you all, be back when I can. doctorguest
Nina, I am sorry you're feeling worse. Just want to caution you about the heating pad - obviously, if your doctor suggested it, then it's a different story, but... usually, there is inflammation after the surgery, and heat may worsen it by increasing the blood flow even more to that area. Typically, cold packs are better for post-surgery sites. Heating pads work best for muscle spasms.
