bamagirl
How many of you guys have a positive ANA? This was the only test for years that came up positive in my blood work prior to my autonomic symptoms. Just curious...
MightyMouse
I always have positive ANA, speckled and pink. However, ANA only tells you that there is some autoimmune and/or inflamatory process going on--it's not specific to just one problem.Despite my consistent pos ANA, I have no positive tests for specific antibodies for things like rheumetoid arthritis, sjrogrens, raynauds, lupus, etc.Nina
Evie
Years ago i had something wrong with ANA and T cells ... the dr said that was normal for paitients with CFS. I think my levels are normal now. I dont even really understand what it was all about other than my immune system.
Traci
I've had positive ANA's. It's not surprising since they think my autonomic neuropathy is due to my immune system.Traci
Gena
I've had a positive ANA with a speckled rim pattern for years prior to dx with POTS. They have never pinpointed the cause of it.Gena
Evie
When i have told drs that i use to have problems with ANA and T cells they bascially said it was no big deal.. is this true? they made out like it was completely normal and could just be caused by a cold or something like that. halmad85
I also had a positive ANA. That has been the only thing they've found in my labs. It was checked after these POTS symptoms started.
