Fevers

My body gets freezing cold and then very hot. Sometimes when I am hot I do have a low fever. Under 100. Anyone else?

Yes i go from totally stinking hot to freezing cold. The hot flashes usually happen when my blood pressure is low. Before i figured out what was going on i kept taking my temperature thinking i was sick, it never went over 99.

The same happens to me! My doc thinks is bc I’m menopausal but then she also can’t explain the swing to teeth chattering freezing.  Most times the cycle starts with freezing then to hot.

Same here. Hoodie on; hoodie off; repeat! I do notice that when I feel particularly cold and check for a fever (thinking maybe I have fever chills), my temperature is in the 96 range.

Yup. Just today, I felt like I was on fire and I was sweating, but my skin was actually cold to the touch. Frequently go back and forth between sweats and chills too. The over-heating is often followed by a dryness and nausea too. Never really results in a fever though.

I was told this 10 years ago and i bought into it. Boy little did i know. I am sure someone will polk some fun at what i just said. @Pistol

@MikeOI want to laugh but that tracks with some of the non-sensical medical diagnoses I’ve been given.   Sometimes I feel like doctors are just telling us anything from whatever matches, no matter how crazy it is, just to conclude the appointment.  But then we still have the same problems and no working solutions. 

@MTRJ75I also feel nauseous when I’m at either end of the freezing/hot swings. I thought the nausea was from the extreme shivering jumbling my stomach (I shake significantly). So by the time the hot arrives I feel so affected by the hot that I have to be completely still and calm or the nausea builds again.
