MomtoGiuliana
Thanks for posting! It's interesting that the article implies that fainting is her only significant symptom. Nothing about tachycardia or other standard POTS symptoms.
Guest Alex
Thanks for posting Carrie Jessica. The more awareness the better.MomtoGiuliana, I agree, they haven't really explained what POTS is all about but they did a pretty good job at emphasizing that it is disabling and life changing.Alex
HopeSprings
Oh wow, the Daily News is one of the top newspapers in New York. This is so great! I have a question - is the content of online newspapers the same as the paper version? Meaning if I go buy a copy of the Daily News will this POTS article be in it? derekliz
While I am glad that POTS is receiving some awareness, there are many of us who are not wheelchair bound, do not pass out and are still able to function (for the most part) on a daily basis. It is unfortunate that they made it seem like all POTS patients are the same as her. That may make it harder for us when we talk to physicians or anyone else, for that matter, to truly understand our symptoms. We are all so different with our symptoms and treatments and I personally would have been happy if they also listed maybe the top symptoms of POTS Liz
ramakentesh
Most POTS don't faint.
MomtoGiuliana
This patient may have POTS but it seems she may also have NMH, which actually may be more disabling than the POTS?
