micheller Posted January 11, 2013 Report Share Posted January 11, 2013 I haven't been able to eat or drink much the last 3 days. I know I'm very dehydrated and my symptoms are getting pretty bad. Angelaintexas Posted January 12, 2013 Report Share Posted January 12, 2013 I went to an urgent care clinic and explained that I had POTS, they just looked at me lol -but I said that I am hypovolemic and around 'that time of the month' I just bottom out and need a refill. I would make ice chips in the blenderwith it. That way I could suck on it slowly. It would be like a slow drip of an iv. I would try to avoid the ER because of all the flu right now .If anyone has the flu and pots we have to go in for fluids .If this is becoming chronic, It may be time to have a talk with your docabout @ home infusion. We are all so dehydrated. There are so many home companies now. Even Walgreen's handles iv and deliveries. I started out very slow for yearsat an infusion clinic in a hospital setting.
