HopeSprings
How do I describe this? Does it ever feel like blood isn't properly circulating through your body? Like everything is stagnant and you just want to shake it out or get moving, so the blood will get flowing again. When I'm feeling this way, I'm also pretty lethargic and my arms, hands, face, sometimes legs or feet will appear white - like I'm half dead or something. Where on earth does the blood go when it's not where it's supposed to be? Anyone else have this?
Guest Alex
Naomi, for me it's the exact opposite - I can actually feel my blood flowing through my veins - or so I think... particularly in my lower legs - weird, weird feeling. Oh, and it's usually something I experience when laying down.
yogini
YES. I sometimes feel this way on Sat morning after a week of work. I usually just sleep it off, drink lots of fluids and a little caffeine and I am usually better by night. I have never seen anyone describe it here before. I am not pale, just stagnant/dull and lethargic. I do not have the energy to shake it out. After work too - sometimes I feel like I don't want to move an inch
AllAboutPeace
Yes, me too! I feel like this every morning when I wake up. It's like I'm coming out of hibernation and that everything has slowed to a near standstill and it takes a long time before I can actually get up. I also feel the urge to shake it out, but like you said, Naomi and yogini, the intense weakness prevents me from actually doing that. At other times when I've felt like this through the day, I have actually popped on the recumbant bike to ever-so-slowly try to get the blood circulating. I usually only last a minute or two because of the low energy. I'd love to know what is behind that.
