sue1234
When do you meet with your doctor again to understand what all of that might mean?

sue1234
Good luck, and keep us posted! My next appt. with Mayo is not until mid-April, and it's driving me crazy to wait that long!

issie
You knew about the low potassium. Remember my telling you that an ARB will increaes your potassium levels and will lower you angiotension levels. Now whether that would affect your ace - not sure. What did Dr. G say - is he going to let you try it. Lorsartan has been very sucessful for some. It will also increase your NO levels which may help with your energy. I'd have to look up the plasma lactate thing - don't know what that means. Let us know what he says and what your treatment plan is. Hoping for good news. HopeSprings
Was this regular ACE? If so, were they looking for Sarcoidosis? The last neuro I saw did the ACE test and a chest x-ray looking for sarcoid partly because of Small Fiber Neuropathy- was all negative. Let us know what happens. jangle
Interesting, never thought ACE would be high in POTS
julieph85
I also have low plasma lactate, I think that doesn't mean anything since high is bad. I think doctors count low as normal.
