faint factory
I want to cry tears of joy. Today my diagnosis of NCS was amended to POTS and NCS. I was taken off metaprolol, which made me miserable, and was prescribed florinef and midodrine. I also asked about getting a handicap placard for bad days, and it sounds like they're open to it but would like me to see how the new meds work first. So nice to not be told it's psychological. Chaos
Seems kind of odd to say "congratulations" to getting a diagnosis of something that is a life changing diagnosis, but I think we ALL understand just how nice it is to get a "real diagnosis" instead of the same old label of "it's all in your head, you're stressed or you're anxious."Good luck finding treatments that help you get back to a more normal semblance of life as you knew it. And CONGRATULATIONS!!!
faint factory
Thanks guys! Ha, I know it's weird to be congratulated, but when you already know something's wrong, that label means a lot. Especially when you need it to get the treatment you need.
