gertie
If so, do you tolerate it well? Neurontin is the only seizure med I have been able to tolerate & I was elated I had finally found something that would not make me feel worse. I thought it would be my standby forever but now everytime I take one I'm getting a headache. It is so weird. Now I've got to start over & try to find something else that I can take. Any suggestions? Thanks.
firewatcher
I've tried Lyrica for my headaches (they are not migraines, believe me I know the difference!) It worked well for this headache, but was very short acting and did not work as well as Klonopin. Naratriptan (Amerge) works well for my migraines if I take it in time. The other triptans never touched my migraines.
gertie
Thanks. The Lyrica being short acting would be a plus for me. If I had side effects it would be over sooner. I think it & Neurontin are the same class of drugs.
sandymbme
I took Lyrica for migraine and anti-seizure properties, but it caused me such enormous level of fatigue that I could not function at all. I would literally nod off mid-sentence. It did not really impact my migraines, but very little has ever seemed to help...sigh!
