What a HUGE relief! It is a comfort to know there are judges with some sense out there. Congratulations!!

I LOVED Bewitched! Remember the problems she had with her meddling mother? ha ha ha!!

A salt lick in my cubie.... I would have liked that when I was working!
-
Umm... Coffee?? It makes my guts work better - also works for Hubby.
-
I have a vibrating alarm clock, he wakes me up every morning at 7:30 if I am still asleep.
If I try to go back to sleep he licks my nose....
His name is Hector.
He's also big, white and fuzzy and he likes to have cream while I have coffee....
Okay. I also have a birdsong alarm, but it is rare for me to be able to sleep long enough to use it.

My dr gives me Vicodin. He offered me Percocet but I can't take that.
Yep, I was told that standard migraine meds would send me to the ER, they interfere with heart rythms...
I do try the Excedrin Migraine first - a lot of times that helps, but when it comes down to brass tacks - it's hard to convince the ER docs that you need a narcotic, and my Dr thought I had enough problems without adding me having to deal with an ignorant Dr from the ER on top of it.

Melissa, glad to see you back online!
Hope the surgery went well - but at least it sounds like you got some good drugs.
Well, I don't have a fish picture.... How about a butterfly on a lilac?
-
Sounds like SO much fun!!

She's eating very well. Today huby got her some Frontline to keep the fleas off of her - I had to give her a bath when we brought her in because she was really infested. But she was SO GOOD about having the bath!
I hope I can find her a good home. I have called to get a certificate to have her spayed.
All of her little boo-boos have pretty much healed. She's a real cuddle bunny! She has claws but even through a bath and being sprayed with Frontline, she didn't try to scratch us.

I'd be happy to send her to another home... the current cats don't like her...
-
Awww! I'm sure they are an enjoyable handful!
-
She was sitting in the driveway crying,
She's so young
and skinny
and a piece of her nose is torn from fighting with something...
And she's hungry
and she cuddled me....
Darn it! I don't need another cat!

Melissa, I hate to hear of even more problems!
Get better soon!!
In a bit of a potshole so not posting much - But I am reading and praying for you!!

I know you can't rent one BUT....
In 2004, one of the church Deacons handed me a set of car keys. It was my birthday and it took me a while to realize he was giving me a CAR!!!
It is a 1986 Lincoln Town Car - a land yacht! But the back seat is so big I can completely lie down on it. On my back or on my side.... Plus, the front seats recline all the way back if I want to ride up front. It's great! Needless to say, Hubby loves to drive it.
22 MPG by the way.... not too bad!
We also have a Suziki Swift. It is a tiny economy car - but - the way the dash is made, and with the reclining seat, it is very easy for me to ride in too. I can put my feet on the dash, adjust the amount of "recline" I need, and away we go!

Corina, I didn't know your hubby works at the airport... My hubby used to be a commercial pilot!
I live in Missouri, about an hour and a half from Branson.

"Topple" means to fall over.
Poor Old Thing Splats

Congrats! I know well the struggle you have been though, it is a bittersweet victory, but it certainly relieves a lot of stress to have it behind you.

You have to put the whole bean down and cover it with leaves, let them rot... you can't "plant" them. THEN - they take a couple of years to start.
Or just order a tree already started from a nursery.
We are trying to start some more in the front yard a bit closer to the house since the ice storm this past January. The oaks and Mimosas came through the storm just fine - it really did a lot of damage to everything else!

Pictures of our house and trees!
Mimosa trees - the reason our house is called Mimosa Hill
A closer look at the fuzzy Mimosa flowers
Now you see the house....
Now you don't! This is directly in front of our house...
This is a view of the big oak trees behind the house. There are 5 of them.

Morgan, I am SO very, very sorry to hear this.
-
I am so glad you are getting some answers - I know how frustrating that can all be!
-
Thank you! If only the first doctor I went to had been to such a presentation.
-
Powdered worms?? I was afraid of that.
*ahem* I will not be trying this!
Yes, we all have to be very careful of herbal supplements, and talk to your doctor.

I'm in!
Waiting for a link now.... YAY!!
