I am new to all of this. Received dx of pots in august and still no answers (which is common, I know)

However, just wanted to ask if pots tends to revv. up anxiety symptoms?

I never suffered with the sudden onset of sweating, nausea, and bowel issues ......blah!

Just getting ready to go to the doc. I have to pop clonazapram before Apts now. Frustrating. Just wondering if this is common, and how doyou go about handling it.

Sounds crazy,when I say rusted..lol

However the palms of my hands have a copper tinge with metallic sparkles...just like rust. And then I have a strong metal taste in my mouth. Not very pleasant.

Hhmmm, interesting though I have always had an issue with low iron, and being told I was anemic.

@Bren, are you sure there is a doctor that specializes in POTS? If so where????

I am so sorry about the way the children's hospital treated you. That is completely unprofessional!

I hope this helps. I an Ottawa being transferred to MTL. Kinda worried.

Just wondering if anyone has a problem taking additional iron supplements. My body basically rejected it. I "actually Rusted". Freaked everyone out.

I am hoping someone here can give me a thought on it.

I sure hope there is a diagnosis to "cure"

I was diagnosed in august, spent 21 days in the hospital. And after all that time, by deduction of everything else.A POTS dx was done. Nothing else, just meds. And then said play with the dosages. I am currently awaiting a transfer to a specialist. 2 hours away! Oh well, if he can figure just to get me to stop feeling like crappy, would be fantastic!
