Well its done... Overdid it to the fullest. I'm going to pay tomorrow for sure (already feeling rough). Up down, up down, up down... Not to mention my sister is challenged when it comes to moving. Super smart grad student, with little common sense. Oh well its my baby sis so I'd do it next week if I had to.

I've got about a 1.5hr drive to Pittsburgh tomorrow. I'm helping my sister move from her apt to a new one. Hopefully my symptoms will be at a minimum. Wish me luck!

Issie, thanks for the tip. I was tested for all kinds of autoimmune diseases, when I first had symptoms by a rheumatologist years ago, and my neurologist also within the last year checked for several autoimmune issues and never found anything. My autonomic doctor says this is atypical for dysautonomia, but we all know there is a disease entity when you have a disorder. Still searching and researching...I also have droopy eyelids on occasion when I am very symptomatic. When I'm not smiling my face is asymmetrical, too...something with my facial nerves possibly. I keep going back to Horner's syndrome, but I haven't had this all my life either. Still questioning all the time, trying to find answers!!

Thanks Humbled Pie, but I was just there a couple of weeks back, and had an MRI and MRA done less than a year ago, so I'm thinking I should be Ok before the next cancelled appointment, because I'm not having any other symptoms, and the dilation is transient; it isn't staying that way. I've had vision problems for 14 years, so it is nothing new, other than the unequal pupil in dim light that comes and goes.

On a side note whats with Neuro's?? They all seem weird...

mine was in the 20's I want to say 27 to be exact. I take a supplement for it. I'll probably have it checked again soon.

I think I'm going to go drug free for now.

I'm not trying to thread jack but I had bad cholesterol levels the last time they were checked and had them prior to any serious POTS issues. Is this a trend with us?

My right one is bigger than my left as well and they always seem to be big! My Neuro knows along with all my other docs. They said its just part of what you have.

I ordered Abby and Chelsea. I figure I'll give one pair to Melanie and one pair to my mom for Mothers day. Lacey is what Melanie kept loosing. The first pair got lost. The next pair were thrown from her face while tubing, and the last pair was lost in the Ocean! I told her over and over again you never turn your back on the ocean!

I appreciate all the replys! I've narrowed it down to two different scents. Clinique happy or Elizabeth Arden Green Tea. I'm having a hard time picking between the two. At the same time Melanie has taken the hint and stopped using the stuff I cant stand. Her birthday is May 21 so I think this will be part of her gift. I already ordered her a new pair of sunglasses. Last year she went through 3 pairs of expensive sunglasses (kept buying the same ones and things kept happening to them).

What heart rates are you guys reaching while exercising?

The last few times while doing cardio I was around 120-130. I try not to take it past that.

I had an MRI and MRA. Both were normal. I personally believe anyone with POTS should have this to rule out Tumors, Anurisims, etc.

The noise bothers me so I wear headphones

I've been doing better this week and feel its due to exercise. I've been using the eliptical for 30 minutes and then doing a lite weight high rep little rest workout. I'm not feeling as good as Jangle but agree with his theory and will try to work my way up to where he is.

Puppylove you can do any form of Cardio. Swimming, bicycling, etc.

I know this is slightly off topic but today at the gym I was feeling good after 30 minutes of Cardio. I then started a light high rep upper body workout. When I got to shoulder press I started getting dizzy. Not sure if its due to my arms are over my head for so long or what.

I hate to fly! I wouldnt have such an issue if they'd let me fly the plane. I've always said if its got wheels I can drive it! Technically a plane has wheels, lol...

I have issues with purfumes too - but, I'm a floral girl and love plumeria - a flower from Hawaii. I get a purfume when I go there and it can be ordered on-line. There are actually two companies I can use their stuff. One is from Forever Florals and I have the cologne spray and purfume. The other company I use if called Island Soap and Candle Works - they have a purfume - but were out when I was there last - but, I have the Body lotion and Body and Bath oil in the Plumeria Blossom - they also have wonderful smelling soaps that are a coconut base with all different scents - I got about 6 different ones - not sure which scent I like the best in the soaps. For shampoo and conditioner - I use a different Hawaiian company called Luxus International - Personal Paradise and of course my favorite scent is plumeria. But, I also like Pikake Passion in those products. (These hair products are a little too strong smelling though and I cut them down by just adding a little to some other shampoos and conditioners to just get the smell into them. It makes a bottle last forever - but, I smell like plumeria from head to toe. LOL ) I love it! But, there's no guarantee - you will love it. My husband loves it - but, it takes us to a place we've been before and the air smells like this every where and it is a wonderful feeling that the smell gives us. Ummmmm - I just sprayed it on - since I had to go get it to write down what they were. HEAVENLY!!!!

She's gonna love you for thinking about her! First you need to know if she likes florals or spicey scents. That will determine what you get. Some like more citrus scents too. Perfume is pretty individual. But, I'm betting if you like it and you think you know what she likes - she's going to love it. What scent is she using right now?

She has happy at her parents house and thats not too bad. As far as the cheap crap she uses I'll check. It reminds me of a spray that you use after going to the bathroom...

i do them with very light weight and just focus on doing a lot. I've only been doing them the past two weeks or so. I seem to feel better after.
