Please share with me any info you have on cervical stenosis causing this condition. I also have cervical stenosis from a bulging disk and bone spur, and I have often wondered if it could be related because the sympathetic nerves run down the spine... Hello, I am also new here, so I won't be able to answer some of your questions, but I can tell you that I also have chronic pain. I have pain in my joints as well as a deep ache type pain in my muscles that feels something like body aches from the flu. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and I have POTS. Sometimes I wonder if it is the POTS causing the pain...especially the pain in my legs and feet. Hope you find some answers here! Take care, Ann

HI there, This is probably going to sound very silly and maybe even stupid, but try some sun screen...I have a sun allergy/reaction that makes my skin feel like it is burning and I get red itchy bumps on my arms and face. My immunologist suggested sunscreen and I laughed (because it seemed too simple) until I tried it. It seemed to work pretty well. Also, sunscreen lowers the skin temperature by about 10 degrees which is very helpful when we are trying to avoid getting hot. This information about lowering skin temperature I learned when I was cycling and it seemed to work well for many people I cycled with. Ann

HI Everyone, I am new here and I wanted to know how high is high when we are talking high heart rate? I had my tilt table today and it went to 167 as soon as they stood me up. Is this high, average or low compared to others with POTS? Just wondering where I was in the scheme of things. THANKS!!! Also, is all POTS dysautonomic in nature? And what is the outcome on beta blockers? Thats what they gave me because they have no idea what is going on. Thanks for any replies, Ann
