  1. The past two times I have taken one fourth of a pill of Mestinon my stomach has been a wreck the entire next day. Coincidence? I don't think it is. The slightest things upset my stomach, so I'm guessing this really does. I don't want to take it. It's not worth it. But my doctor and my parents are telling me I have no choice. What do I do?

  2. Me too. I get it a random times. For me the scariest part is feeling like parts of my body aren't there- especially my hands. Also, I have noticed at places like malls, doctors offices, school I get this haze/ surreal dizzy feeling- maybe the flouresent lights?

  3. My Dad's work is having a little vacation thing for the company for a couple days by the Chesepeake Bay. I'm so excited because I just found out that another person who has POTS is going to be there! My Dads coworker's son who is my age has POTS, and they are actually the ones who told us about it in the firstplace. I have only met him once like five years ago when we were both healthy. So I'm finally going to meet someone who has POTS in person! Also, I probably wont feel like such a wierdo since everybody at my Dad's work knows about POTS by now.

  4. I'm not a huge reader but when I was first diagnosed my better half was in a book club. At the time she was reading "The Art of Racing In the Rain". I couldnt put it down and finished it within a day or so. The book is written through the perspective of a dog. It had everything you could want in a book. I highly recommend it!

Oh my gosh!!! That's my favorite book!

I also like Wings, it's kind of like Twilight but with butterfly fairys instead of vampires.

  5. I'm missing my old self so much right now. My sister and all of my friends just got back from a One Direction concert and I soooooo wish I could of gone. The lights and noise and everything would have just been too much. I miss school, I miss having friends, I miss being a normal fifteen year old. I have been doing a little better with not feeling bad for myself but things like this just make it so hard. :(

  6. It really makes me feel better too- I go sit in the sun whenever I can. :) The only thing is when i'm on midodrine the sun gives me a rash for some reason. But I have less other symptoms- and it makes me happy. Good article.
