  2. I'm hoping this is ok to do.

I just got a letter yesterday from Dr. Grubb, as I'm sure that alot of you have that his wife Barbara has brain cancer. My letter was dated May and I just received it yesterday so I'm not quite sure how she is doing..

If anyone is game I'd like to do a candle vigil one day next week. Basically you just light a candle all at the same time, and send prayers, good thoughts, anything you wish. Please let me know what you think.

I'm thinking next Wednesday at 7:00

    God Bless

  3. Well you guys are the best, thanks for all the ideas, most of them I have tried with no luck. Today I even tried '3' yes three band aids, criss crossing them over. lol (hurt when I took them off, ouch) I am going to try the nursing pads as soon as I can get out to buy some.

Will let you know how that goes.

  4. I don't know which one of my medications give me the goosebumps, or chills but one of them are definately the culprit.

I'm actually quite embaressed to ask my question, so please forgive me, here goes. No matter what kind of bra I have bought I cannot find one to eliminate my problem. We show through like crazy. One girl at work always is asking me if I'm cold!!! I'm thinking its the proamatine, because I don't remember this problem before adding that one to my list. Any suggestions I would appreciate it.

    and again , sorry

  5. without making it any more drastic then it was, my colonoscopy was a nightmare!! It started out with the prep, the more I drank the more sick I got... Besides tasting nasty, I was nauseas from the get go and couldn't stop vomiting.

The next morning, they had a really hard time putting me under, once under they started the procedure, only to have me wake up in the middle of the procedure, in excrutiating pain. Finally got things under control, finished the procedure. After getting so much antisectic (spelt wrong, I am sure :( ), I slept for two days, waking up I didn't know if it was just a nasty nightmare or real. After getting several phone messages, from the attending nurses, doctor, with apologies, I figured it was real.

Another one???? Not on your life

  6. Our mothers day was awful as well. My husbands "mum" passed away over the weekend. Aubrey is from Northern Ireland and his mom had just moved back home (after living and working in Canada for 30 years )within the last year to spend her retirement. Friday afternoon she suffered a massive stroke and was gone.

My husband and son are over there now for the funeral, Kelly and I wanted to go but had no passports, and being late already Friday we couldn't get any answers as far as emergency traveling. So he went on his own with our son, to see his moms new apartment for the first time and being mothers day weekend. I feel so bad for not being there. But at the same time having never traveled on a plane nor being out of the country, its probley better I am home.

  7. Cooper alias "DUMAS" has made himself quite at home!!! He is a big sweetheart!!! But awful silly!!! He loves to play with toilet water ;) so I am constantly putting the lids down. He likes to nap in the tub!! Dunks his head in his water dish. Loves paper bags!!! Definately entertains himself as well as the whole family!! Well except the dogs, they just look at him with that "WHY" look on their face.

Also my son plays the bagpipes, so when he is playing the cat meows very loudly. Need to tape that one for funniest videos :)

    Have a wonderful day

  8. Well we did it... It was a hard decision but after visiting a couple of shelters we decided to adopt Cooper. He is a year and a half years old and has adapted to our house pretty smoothly. We tried to confine him to a room but he wasn't having nothing to do with that!! Our dogs are a littled confused but they are all getting along surpriseingly well. The only problem we have so far is they fight over grandpa. My dad is paralyzed from a stroke, so pretty much lays down in bed all day. Well they all love to visit so we have to take turns now. Bandit is a little jealous but is loving the extra dog treats...

This is Cooper, another one to be spoiled
