Darlene Posted March 7, 2013 Report Share Posted March 7, 2013 has anyone of you had an EMG done? how uncomfortable. the needles they poked me with several times didn't bother me, but i didn't care for them zapping me with these electrodes. he was just going to do my legs, but it showed neuropathy so he decided to do my arms too. hope i don't have to do that again. anyway, what causes neuropathy? Your Dr. should be looking for underlying causes.yeah, i think i had that done in my ans testing and it didn't bother me too much so ruled out neuropathic potsAn EMG won't rule out neuropathic POTS, but a skin biopsy or QSART might pick up small fiber neuropathy.
