Allotmenteer
Anyone seen the London neurologist? Am waiting for them to ring me back with a private appoinment, as I can't wait 8 months for the NHS feeling like this. Hope they ring back soon, it's been a week since GP wrote to themWhat can I expect at my appointment?
Foggy01
Which neurologist is this? The secretary of mine gave me an appointment within 30 seconds, why are you having to wait a week for them to ring back? Maybe you're talking about a different one. Allotmenteer
Dr Mathias at Queen's Square, my GP sent the referral letter, I haven't spoken to them myself?
rach73
From groups on facebook seeing Dr Mathias privately the wait could be 3-4 weeks on the NHS 9-12 months as he really is the only expert in the UK.Many people have complained that the after care isnt great but the initial appointments are good. You can probably google him and get his telephone number to contact his secretary. He will see you without a referral. However the appointment will cost privately £350. Too expensive for me when I calculate in travel and hotel costs.Hope you get your appointment soon.Rach
Foggy01
Dr Mathias at Queen's Square, my GP sent the referral letter, I haven't spoken to them myself?Yeah ring up the secretary. She'll send you info and stuff by email and you can send back contact info and your own list of symptoms/history to her by email, on top of the referral letter by fax.Good luck man, hope you finally get to the bottom of your lyme/dysautonomia issues. anna
Prof. M is not the only ANS dysfunction Dr. in the UK, there are some less high profile Dr.'s doing good work around the UK
louloutinks
HiI had all my tests at the NHNN. Am due there at the end of May to see him again. The staff at the autonomic unit are lovely - not like the usual NHS lol!!I hope you get down to the bottom of this. Good luck
