Homeopathy

Have any of you that can't take regular meds ever tried homeopathy? If so, what was your experience? Thanks.

I can take regular medsbut also use homeopathy. It has helped my gastric problems very much. Did so even before i saw a gastric motility specialist. Caroline

Yes, use it regularly. I find some things very helpful - others not so. You have to hit the remedy right on or it won't work at all. But, once you get it right - it does work.

I've found homeopathy almost as effective as western medicine however as Issie said, it is a lot of trial and error unfortunately before you hit the right remedy. The other complication is finding a good homeopath who is prepared to work with you even when you don't seem ot be making progress. I found a great homeopath who has now moved and was also starting to get frustrated with me as i wasn't improving as quickly as he would have liked.

I'm not sure I completely understand the term "homeopathy". Could someone explain?

I used to see a homeopath regularly and I agree with earlier comments that some stuff works great and other times it can be a disappointment.

Before crashing I used to tread myself with homeopathy for everything. Now I need regular medication for a lot of medical problems but I still take homeopathy for some, ie allergies, flu.
