louloutinks
I am wondering if this has anything to do with autonomic dysfunction but I have noticed that I get genital 'arousal' for a few moments for no reason (blush).I could be doing washing up or something of the like and it starts and then just stops by itself a few moments later.Thats about it - am off due to embarrassment now! sue1234
I don't get it, but I can see where it might happen. Because our POTS deals directly with vasoconstriction and vasodilation, it's going to happen everywhere in the body. All those ED meds work to vasodilate, I believe.Only here would we discuss everything under the sun!
HopeSprings
Yup - I know what you're talking about. You're a brave thing for asking the question!

louloutinks
Brave but highly embarrassed but it has been happening for some time now and I really needed to know. Thank you for replying.Very true Sue - couldn't imagine asking this anywhere else - not even the doctors lol!! Just my luck to get vasoconstriction/dilation there lol.On a serious note though, I have tried to find out about autonomic system and this but have not found much whatsoever.I take it you have it too Naomi - have you told your doctor? louloutinks
Hi Bren...I've not died yet from it lol.It happens too many times a day and glad it still works of course but just at the wrong times!! Hehe
HopeSprings
No I haven't mentioned it to a Dr. because it doesn't happen a lot and isn't all that bothersome when it does. Probably related to blood flow problems.
futurehope
Look up persistant sexual arousal syndrome - PSAS It is real and debilitating. There are specialty gynecologists who deal with this.
louloutinks
Hi Futurehope,I have read about that but it says 'prolonged' which this isn't - fleeting moments more like!
