firewatcher Posted August 17, 2011 Report Share Posted August 17, 2011 I take 20mg of Propranolol (Inderal) daily. It has been a very good drug for me: stops the tremors, hand sweats and tachycardia. It is relatively short lasting and effective at small doses (smaller than most people are on.) I take it in the morning, but not at night since my normal HR at night is very slow. Olive Posted August 19, 2011 Report Share Posted August 19, 2011 I haven't had any side effects. In fact it has helped me feel more relaxed since it has brought my resting heart rated down. Also I was having migraines before and it has helped with that. I know it is used for migraines also. It hasn't been a miracle drug, I don't have any more energy with it, but it has helped a lot.
