pat57 Posted December 3, 2008 Report Share Posted December 3, 2008 I'm feeling shock from a quick change of jobs. I was hired by the general manager where my son works as a manager. This was ok'ed by the district manager.It was understood that technically it is against corporate policy. I have been remarried and son and I have different last names. Here it is Dec. I was informed by the GM that I would be employee of the year which means 1000 dollar treasury bond. But the vote is yet to come.BAM I get a call from(last night) FROM son, I'll be forced to transfer in the AM because district manager is on the hot seat. I call my old job and am now back with them. I'm lucky to have that to go to. All this in the space of about a hour. Where am I?who am I?What's going On? I'm actually making more money going back to "the old" job, BUT NO 1000 DOLLAR BOND.
