There wasn't an instant effect for me, but after nearly two years now, my standing heart rate has gone down from an average of about 140-150 to around 110-120. I can't ever recall my heart rate going up; however, if I was on florinef and had a period of abnormal exertion (did too much ), my POTS would trump the florinef and bring with it increased heart rates.If your heart rate is increasing without any other reasonable cause, you really should talk to your doctor to see if it's the right med for you.
