i do feel crappy and i cant seem to find a doctor i was told when i was released from the er friday that a pots doctor would call me to get an appointment today but i have waiting all day today and have not received a call from him.

i thought i would let you all know that i went to my cardiologist today and when he stood me up my heart rate went to 254 so he rushed me to the er and did a lot of bloodwork and tests and when all the results came back i had finally after six years got a certain diagnosis of severe pots and severe autonomic neuropathy.

it took me five long years to get disability because i was turned down three times and was headed before the judge but i wrote my senator about my condition and the next week i heard back from him that he talk to social security and made them realize that i needed disability and since then i have been receiving my monthly checks.

that is why i am so frustrated because i know i have pots by the low blood pressure and high heart rate i have at home but the tilt table test showed different.

i feel the same way you do because when i had my ttt my blood pressure went up alongwith a very high heart rate but when i take my blood pressure at home it is always low or real low with a very high heart rate so what do i do now because i have been told i have pots but by the ttt results i dont really know.

my stomach has been really bad for the last month with pain and swelling and i was wondering is there a good gastroenterologist in georgia espically one in newnan georgia.

i am going to a heart doctor for pots would he be able to give me something for my stomach.

what medicine can you take to help with stomach swelling.

i was wondering how many of you have trouble with their stomach swelling because mine swells all the time and this makes me look like i am having a baby.

i was thinking since my heart rate was 125 laying down during the tilt table test and when i was tilted to a standing position it increase to a heart rate of 200 does this mean hyperadrenergic pots.

i was wondering when you have pots do they think you have bad heart problems or is it just a high rate issue.

i think when people tell me you dont look sick they are saying that you are just pretending to be sick because they dont think that pots is really a disease and you are just wanting attention.

what really gets me is that i can be feeling bad all day and be running a fever of 102to 103 and someone would come over and say what wrong with you you dont look sick and one other thing is what can you tell visitors who come over when you are feeling bad and they stay as long as six hours a visit.

how many times have you all been told by friends and family that you dont look sick when you are so dizzy you feel like you are going to faint and also you have pain that is unbearble and your chest feels like your heart is about to come out of it cause it is beating so fast.

He is probably the best doctor to start with in GA. He is an electrophysiologist, and he is knowledgeable in the area of POTS diagnosis and treatment. He works with the Cardiac Disease Specialists, so if you need help in an area other than electrophysiology there would be a doctor in that practice to whom he could refer you.

they told me also they probale will send me to dr.dan dan a specialist in pots who study under doctor grubb.

the knots that i am talking about are on the back of my head and they do seem like fluid built up on my headand i have knots that have come up around my temples that are painful.

they said it was probable pots and another disease of my heart that cause my heart rate to stay high or even higher upon standing also they said my ekg showed a right bundle branch block.

they told me with pots your heart rate is usually not up as high as mine was lying down and they said my blood pressure went up when they tilted me to a standing position.
