P SUDIK
Anyone else have severe hand and arm cramps? I have had them off and on for awhile(more on right now).I am going to mention it to my Dr. next week, thought maybe I am lacking something? Any ideas? Thanks Pat
Sunfish
the first thing that comes to mind is low potassium, though that tends to cause cramping in larger muscles, i.e. legs. i wouldn't worry about it, particularly since it's an on/ off thing, but would definitely mention it to your doctor as you're planning. melissa
flop
I agree with Melissa - mention it next time you see your doctor. Several different things can cause muscle cramps - low levels of Sodium, Potassium and Calcium are all possibilities that can be easily checked on a blood test.Flop
joiedevivre516
Low Magnesium is another one that causes muscle cramps -- definitely check that out! Good luck! I have major troubles with cramps in my extremities, and it's always been attributed to electrolyte imbalances.
Megan
I had cramps until I started taking potassium. So definitely get it checked out.Meg
