MomtoGiuliana
Thanks for your efforts to educate your colleagues. I am glad to hear it was well-received. I think it is hard for many doctors (not to mention the general public) to grasp how disabling this condition can be, even though it is not life-threatening. JaneEyre9
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!I used to work with researchers and docs in electrophysiology, and I know firsthand how much credibility and weight a single doctor has with fellow doctors. One educational session from you has much more power to spread awareness than a patient trying to advocate for him/herself (not that we will ever stop!). Thank you for using your influence to help us! Oh, and also...Thank you!
LindaJoy
Thank you so much, doctorguest, for educating other doctors about POTS. As one who has felt the "it's menopause," "it's in your head," "it's anxiety" stings for years from those I've gone to for care, I appreciate your bringing those misconceptions to light about this terrible condition, as I know it will definitely help to bring better care to us and to others who, unfortunately, will be diagnosed with this condition.I've said it before, but thank you, again, for caring enough about us here at potsplace.com, to give of your time, education and concern to us, and now, for extending that same concern and knowledge to others who are in a position to help us with our care. You're a blessing.Lindajoy
lizb
Just wanted to add my thanks for all the hard work that is done to promote an awareness of POTS and it's symptoms, and also a great big thank you to all the people who take part in this forum.Liz B
