Midodrine Cause This?

Recommended Posts

Hi, so I have been doing okay on the Midodrine. I only took one 2.5mg tablet today. I took it at 12pmish and it is now 5pm and I have a headache. Do you guys think that this is from the Midodrine not being in my system anymore, thus lowering my bp??? Just curious as to what could cause it. THen again I have been having headache probs even before taking the Midodrine...so who knows.....

Hi,

Is great that you have been doing well on it. I had a bad reaction to it, which was very dissapointing at the time because I saw it as a lifeline. The problems I had mainly were headaches and shakes/tremors. My headache was so bad that I walked around with my head in my hands.

Equally though it could be caused by it leaving your system. If you feel good when on it, chances are it does agree with you. I think!

Anyhow, none of this is probably very imformative :) but I wish you the best of luck and lots of good days. Having some really bad ones myself at the mo!

I have no idea...I'm learning from you and others...hope they give you some feedback. If not, search the older posts for this topic. I do remember it being discussed in the past.

Every time I start or stop a new med I get terrible headaches. If you are only new to this drug, keep trying and the headaches should lessen. If they continue, then maybe it's not for you. I hate headaches :) , so I am hoping it goes for you soon.
